Anything similar to PunPun that someone can recommend? I remember something starting with a "Hina" or "Sol" but I can't remember for the life of me. How's Taiyo Matsumoto's other work other than Black and White (only novel he did I had the patience to sit down for because of how dense the art was)
You might be thinking of Hinamatsuri and Solanin.
As for something similar to Punpun, Boys on the Run and Himizu might be up your alley.

Man can Shuu never get a break. I mean the guy's family is getting annihilated and then at the end he's finally confronted by Haise. I have to say Matsumate's final goodbye to Shuu was pretty emotional. She was like his older sister to Shuu and for her to get killed by the CCG will be sad. Also calm the fuck down Hairu, getting orgasms from bloodshed really.
So big lips is going to get rekted by the new and improved Kanae. That bastard can never get a break can he lol. I wonder what Eto and Noro are going to do.

Fire Brigade of Flames 01 (Basically chapter 2)
So this is going to be a 40+ page chapter series.... nice
Anyway his past with all that misunderstanding is overly sad. The series is so far so good with these past two chapters.
I know that this generation kids have fire immunity so I can understand why the protag walks around with sandals in a fire scene but their captain isn't fire immune and literally wears a metal helmet and visor over his face as his fireman uniform

I skipped a few arcs but this still dragged remorselessly. Will check back in 5 years to see if he managed to meet Shanks yet. Oh who am I kidding I will probably start checking this out weekly ...

Marineford was a bit of fresh air both because it ditched Luffy's crew and the corresponding need to give everyone their own duel and because it culminated a few plotlines that were eternally developing in the background. I was majorly spoiled on some things so it probably didn't impact me as much as it should. And it was a fairly simplistic, non-stop battle arc too so that knocks it down a few notches too.
Also, all these sob backstories started to feel really artificial and manipulative after a while.I think Robin's is the last one I managed to care about.

Twelve OClock Bell Rings (one-shot)
Cinderella retelling from a series of one-shots where shounen authors did their own takes on shoujo. The heroine's demeanour, horror elements and uplifting ending made it exactly my kind of fairy tale. If this was an accurate imitation of shoujo then I'd read more of the genre but, uh, it wasn't really.
I wonder if we'll ever know why this took so long.
I'm surprised that it's Kurokawa and not Glénat though. I was sure they'd jump all over this.

Well, the good thing is that OPM doesn't have cultural references so Kurokawa won't butcher it like they do with Saint Young Men. I just stopped buying it cause the references are too France-centric, totally breaks the immersion.

That's possible, Tonkam "leaked" the Food Wars anime adaptation by mistake back then.
When people asked why they chose Food Wars as the name in France they said it was an "order" from Viz, to match the western name of the anime (which wasn't announced yet)

Chapter was too short, I want more damnit! Seeing Haise utilize his Kagune to climb is always great, iirc he did that a few times before right? I think during the auction arc and before as Kaneki near the end of TG.
Wonder where Rose met Hairu before, in the underground perhaps? Nevermind, I just remembered she was there at the original ambush.
Also, was that Noro? Looked a bit different than normal it seems. If it's Kanae, Noro must have also been a victim of Eto, similar mask and such?
