Though I have to say, Charles with his equality ideas and all, frequently feels more like a self-insert from XXI century than a human being born and raised in noble, XVIII century family.

At this rate I'll be done with this manga in a couple of days, so.. Any manga recommendations with more epic battle of wits awesomeness? Doesn't have to have the focus on battles of wits like LG has, as long as there's plenty of the stuff. I've already read/watched the most obvious ones like Death Note. Akumetsu and One-outs also come to mind, loved them both.

That plot twist is another of the points in the manga that highlight the ambivalence between good feelings and bad feelings that this work elicits in me.
Feeling good because of the plot twist and what it represents but at the same time feeling bad because of what the man went through and
seeing the kid unable to even acknowledge that the man is his father or he'd be killed too
.
Such a good manga.

Yeah, she has a long road ahead of her... because he thinks she thinks he's disgusting.

I hope it stays that way (that he thinks she thinks he's disgusting). Would make for a very amusing manga.

I also hope he rejects her. That would be extremely satisfying to watch. Would be a very good social message to teach readers that pretty girls don't get what they want just by wanting.

I read all of what's out for Gate ~And so the JSDF fought or whatever the title is supposed to be and holy shit it's an amazing manga. The anime's first 5 ep are good and I'm now looking forward to more because of how good the rest is.

It's actually good event, because the war will start again and then they can finally be destroyed already. We all know it was going to happen at some point.
 
It's extremely rare, but Blood Blockade Battlefront is one of those series I am just not feeling as much as a comic.
Funimation just nailed it so much that it's hard to read it. Plus the different names are outputting.

That's the one on Manga Box, right? It'll just be constant suffering until he ends up with the maid in the end.

This is getting kind of sad now.

We all know Hana will never get with Kiyoshi in the end, since her type of characters always get shafted in Mangas :/

Everyone knows how in romantic comedies/harems there are some tropes: we have the super timid girl, the childhood friend, the "spicy"/older one, the tsundere, the "perfect japanese girl", the ojou-sama, etc etc. Or combinations of said tropes.
Is there ANY time where the spicy one wins? I don't think I ever read one manga where that's the case.
