NeoGAF's Vegeta
Dokgo Manhwa

Basically a story about a guy whos twin brother is killed and and assumes his identity to enact revenge. So far he's been beating dudes left and right without breaking a sweat.

Erased 44

Finally finished this, eh it was alright, manga kind of went south after the coma. Glad Airi possibly ends up with Satoru tho.

The face of true evil. The amount of destruction she single-handedly wrought during these chapters was impressive.

Hayate no Gotoku! 518-529

One of the things I just kept putting off week after week.
It feels like so many things are coming to an end around the same time.
Loved that nagi started drawing Hayate manga.
Probably at the final arc here, maybe 1-2 small arcs after this clocktower one. Can't wait.

UQ Holder

This arc is way too goddamn fucking long

It is literally meaningless who wins the race

It's kinda sad that the only reason this race is even on seems to be to strip every girl at least once.
Wait, that's kinda the reason for the whole manga, if I think about it. Negima had a way better sense of romance and action with a good portion of fan service, UQ kinda lost all that balance.

Tomo-chan 327

So much denial.

I feel like UQ Holder can't win with people here, Negima also had longer stretches during major arcs like this that focused more on developing the relationship between Negi and various girls in the harem then actually moving the plot forward with lots of fan service pandering thrown in.

M no Yuigon / Kinou o Kazoeru Mono

Pretty intriguing heroaca story with them participating in interesting studying activities. I liked the backstory part of how he used to come over all the time before that incident and then some of the bit of jealously maybe Bakugo has since Midoriya is currently making more friends, though at least he still came over. Great art interesting premise, I wish there would be a continuation, surely Midoriya would want to make good with Bakugo. :(

The first chapter of MHA painted Kacchan as a bully since pretty young.
I still have a hard time believing Deku thinking of him as a friend.

Huge Nickleback Fan
I'm sure Deku only think of him as a prick and he only respect his skills and ambition. Can't blame him, Bakugo is a shitty person (which is exactly his character all about). But the tournament arc did show him in a positive light since he fight his opponent at full power without caring about gender. The good thing about Bakugo is that he act like hot shit to everyone without giving a single fuck.

I've been enjoying this one. I like that the chapters are coming out at a pretty fast clip, too. But I saw that there's some kind of prequel series, or maybe Dokgo is a sequel, that's almost 300 chapters? So maybe that's the story of Kang Hu, but none of it was translated so it was tough to say.

Clockwork Planet 22

I like this manga a bunch and don't read it for it's subtlety but there was a specific thread in this chapter that I thought was very good and handled with some deftness. When the MC said to use him as a shield and the Robot Girl refused to despite being unable to disobey his orders, finally agreeing when he explained how Anchor wouldn't kill a human, I thought it would go normally. Then when she finally fights Anchor in stopped time and it comes to the part of the plan where she's supposed to use him as a shield...the silhouette looks completely off from his. And then when the robot wins and is talking with them afterwords, that little girl mechanic says something and the robot responds by looking at her and saying her presence was a great help or assuaged her fears or something and you get that brief panel of Anchor's claw stopping in front of the silhouette and your realization hits. That was very clever and actually raises a lot of questions about the robot girl and what she actually 1. is capable of and 2. has to listen to.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"

I like UQ, I just don't care about the last 20 chapters outside of Kirie stuff because she's a fun character.

In fact, I just went back to look up why the race is happening: it's because Mizore thinks the winner will get to marry Touta, Shinobu just wants to win the race and Kirie was forced to enter because Karin thinks it will get Kirie and Touta closer if they win. Touta joined the race to help Kirie and his sisters(?) cloned him because it amused them.

Bad ending for a bad series
Consistency is a good point at least.

Are we talking about "Chitoge win" bad or "Chitoge hit by truck" bad?
Chitoge hit by a truck is something I find hilarious since another infamous manga, so yeah I'd vote rather "Statu quo still in effect at the end of the series".

I'm still believing we'll get a time skip to Double Arts though.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai 1-13 which I'll call Love Note from now on

This is hilariously stupid as far as premises go. Yet it is awesome and funny.

Gotta love a manga that has as much fun with its male characters as its female characters

Kate straight up went on a rampage

Apparently Nisekoi is nearing its ending and will have what appears to be a...bad ending. Like in not good.

It nearly makes me want to re read it.

There are only two good ends for the series
1
Ichijo proclaims his love for best buddy Shu to everyone whose been there through thick and thin and helped him sort his feelings out. Everyone claps with full understanding and acceptance
2 Ichijo tells Chitoge "sorry but my heart is with Onodera" as he hugs her and smirks.

Vinland Saga 1

This is quite good. The art is excellent, with good framing and smooth panel flow, and the presentation of medieval combat is brutally compelling. I liked how the Vikings were presented as unconventional strategists who cut through conventional Frankish military wisdom. The characters haven't really come into their own yet, given the situation, but the revenge backstory for Thorfinn has promise. The one thing I didn't like was the cartoonish villain leading the Frankish seige, of course introduced as he sloppily chows down on an elaborate meal. Even his short and fat visual design was strikingly out of place compared to all the other characters.
