Hatsukoi Zombie 1-6
MC gets a head trauma from blunt force (a baseball) and passes out. When he wakes up, he discovers he got a power along the way : now he can see as a ghost above men's heads their first love. Which is kind of interesting in the high school setting. Also the ghosts (who he calls "First Love Zombies") are idealized/sexualized versions of the girls and can change and become tainted if the person is heartbroken, causing for the girl accidents and other things in the physical world.
Oh, and the MC's first love from kindergarten transfers to his class. But it's a guy he mistook for a girl !
Pretty interesting so far.

Gave this a go since it seems pretty well regarded and...oh boy. Its such an unappealing start. Bad art, terribly cliche set-up(until a bit at the end) and if you wanted to make me hate all the characters in a short space of time-mission accomplished.
Any chance it picks up later and the beginning is just a bit of a slog?
