So basically that means Shueisha seems pleased with it?
Maybe?
But it seems more of a "Hey check this out, you might like it" reason.

That's reassuring to hear, I really want it to do well since its something different and interesting for once. The Promised Neverland is promising as fuck. If the manga-ka plays his cards right with the plot he can have a surefire hit with it I feel. It's already getting some very positive reception from Japanese online communities.

From what I'm hearing from various manga communities on the net it's mainly from twitter and 2ch that the positive reactions are coming from, as well as reactions for being a manga that normally wouldn't be in something like WSJ, lol. It doesn't mean a lot in the scheme of things if the series can't follow up on the initial first chapter or so.I hope it does well, since the two chapters that are out so far are really interesting, and it definitely has a lot of potential. I hope the Japanese reception you're talking about is real, but even then I worry since my understanding of the Japanese online communities is that they're far more niche than American equivalents (which are already somewhat niche) and thus it doesn't necessarily indicate how well it'll do among mainstream audiences
Yea i link it more toward LINE/Naver tbh.
what i can't understand is why near most of them are basically porn
*shrug*
Isn't the Korean goverment cracking down on porn? I guess borderline softcore is all that is left now lolYea i link it more toward LINE/Naver tbh.

I make the opposite mistake whenever a Wall Street Journal thread pops up in Gaming lolI keep reading wsj as the wall Street journal

Clearly I'm not reading the right ones

Toriko will have an unsatisfying ending, if its current developments are anything to go by. Terribly rushed.
