Also there was a clear period when the artist reduced the frequency in which he traced muscles, and the musculature went all wonkier than usual. Dudes still look mostly human, tho, which is more than i can say about what will come.

gods, 90's battle mangas are so archaic. Thing's like popcorn, tho. Chapters move at ridiculously fast pace, and fights pretty much never outstay their welcome.

Can't even fault the author for barely bothering with what little scraps of story he writes. As someone here once said, you read this thing for all the crazy nonsense. Any who want female characters capable of surviving the bechdel test need not apply.

Did take a while for the book to fully admit that it's mostly about an idiot kid trying to wrassle Evil Superman.

March Comes in Like a Lion
Tower of God
Ballroom e Youkoso (Don't sleep on this amazing series, it has the perfect mix of action and drama even if competitive dancing isn't your thing)

Series has been fucked up since the beginning, but this was the first chapter that made me legit uncomfortable. I'm not entirely sure why, but it might be it actually involved the main character's family even if they've been given sparse characterization. Could also be they're some of the few people the guy was shown to care about, and not "fake" caring about like with the film club.

Potentially manipulating a half-naked little girl into smashing her father's head open doesn't really help things either.
