i hate comparing power sets from different series because the basis for suspension of belief is set on the rules for that particular world.

Goku would wipe the floor with most characters in anime, but i can still say Hanma Yujiro is a tough scary SOB because given the rules of his world he stands out.

I have no idea why this was skipped in the anime, honestly. A lot of the choices on what to cut and what was cut are baffling to me and seemingly random.

Are you guys reading it? Man, I had a blast with chapter 4, 5, 6. Such atmosphere. At the same time I feel the cancellation smell. It's too much non-jump. Shueisha could at least put it in another magazine if not popular.

Well the anime sure as shit ran out of time on this one. The majority of the material of the last dozen chapters was axed or changed. I will say that while the execution of the anime is better int he early parts, it at least felt like the thriller elements were going somewhere in the manga instead of relatively nowhere in the anime. The last episode hasn't aired yet to be fair but I don't forsee any kind of good resolution.

(Airi still sucks)

Man, I was real worried about that resolution but his dad telling him to Do It was great. Also real amusing that apparently the music store's manager thought the best way to teach him jazz was to get him a gig. I love this dude's art, it's very Urasawa.

This manga keeps surprising me by using a trope and then pulling away before committing to it. Which isn't a bad thing. Dude fights his urges to peep, accidentally sees her anyways and no one gets hit and they explain it and she apologizes. Unheard of in manga. Also, ballsy to just ask her like that though I laughed pretty hard when she was like "It pays well!" and he immediately accepted it. LadyWulf and him have a very interesting and lightly flirty relationship. I think she's digging him and is just okay with small-time flirts for now.

Straight no chaser (one-shot)
Pizza delivery man decide to learn trumpet after someone he love told him that she like someone who can play instrument. After this, he was introduced to jazz by one of his pizza regular, old man who used to run jazz cafe. I must say, for a simple story, this one is really good. His drawing kinda remind me of Urasawa Naoki.

Sisterly love saves the day.

At least now the story can go with Alice helping Erina because she is the closest thing she has to a sister that she loves dearly over the stupid "Soma should totes save Erina cause she needs a D to break her father's control" plot. I really like how the whole letters thread was used, as I thought it was but was worried it might get ignored for a while. Thankfully it wasn't and we got the bad air cleared out of the 2 cousins relationship.

This match concluded far better than I ever thought it would've have, since we got a genuinely great Shokugeki (better than Eizan vs Soma in parts, though not as good as some of those Eizan reactions) Kurokiba had some much needed development and show of advancement, Alice is now showing herself being central in helping Erina and the food was great again.

Of note, I like the subtle emphasis about Kurokiba genuinely caring about what makes Alice happy and wanting to support her in doing it. He might not particularly care for Erina on a personal level, but Alice being involved means he going to support her regardless. Even if he only got into this Shokugeki cause he got called a scrub lol

Shokugeki got first for this issue, so I guess the Japanese readership either really loved the 4 mooks design or the Takumi/Soma brief team up

Probably both.

I wanted BLack Clover to chart again but its challenging in a week with Kodansha manga getting new releases. Maybe next time.

World Trigger continues to grow or even maintain its >300K a volume, if it can keep that pace and last for a few more years it can easily join the >10mln jump mangas list, I hope.

Bleach will easily have many volumes >500K at this years ends list, matching performance for the past two years, guess the fans it has left are its core fanbase that keep on buying with little to no buyer attrition taking place.

It's been a while since Komi drew the Double Arts cast, but it just goes to show how much his art improved. Hopefully the next series he does goes back to a similar manga

Elraine, the female protagonist from Double Arts. The manga Komi Naoshi did before Nisekoi.

I believe Paula and her ended up in the top 20, not many people voted in this poll as the other one so it had less total votes overall.

OH MY GOD I have never been so happy as to see a mangaka actually go with the right decision on who should win a fight then this Minami/Minoru fight. I was almost ready to drop this manga if Minoru won and they kept teasing it these past 5 or 6 chapters but goddam if Minami winning hasn't restored my faith in this manga.

Fuck you Minoru, eat canvas, true Main Character Minami coming through.

Kenma in this panel makes it so awesome even with Lev's lines still remaining some of the coolest around.

But Furudate why :( :( :( Yaku is the best nekoma, why he have to benched for a minor injury.

Shibayama is like the Yamaguchi is Nekoma.
