It's pretty nice to have a cool down volume after the amazing ebisu-sama arc.

Of course, this volume still brings out some really nice stories especially on giving great backstories on Kofuku and Mayu. Really nice stories on these two side characters that gives them great development as well as provide a nice break from all the story with Father.

Saw this in the OP and decided to give it a read. It's lewd, but its silly and I enjoy it.
Of the harem members, Tomo and Rika seem fairly normal, sanae and even more so tamayo step up the crazy though.

The first volume is kind of... crap? The stuff that was about struggling with what a "responsible" life seemed to have in store for the characters vs. going through the risk of becoming a manga creator was ok & there were a couple of funny bits, but everything else surrounding that (the horrible otaku romance angle that is more reminiscent of some harem manga level crap than good writing, all the stupid crap about "being a man" & pretty much every discussion about women etc.) was seriously eye-roll worthy. I hope all that becomes better handled or we see these characters evolve past this early stupidity. Or at least that it becomes less important to the overall narrative.

Yeah, Bakuman is really awful about that gender role stuff. It won't get much better. I thought overall it was an average manga.

Now if you want a manga about an aspiring mangaka with a twist that's actually good, and with decent romance, you should try Rin by Harold Sakuishi. It's even ending next chapter, which will most likely be denouement since everything's basically been resolved.

I really like Tamayo due to her yandere vibes, but so far Tomo has the best affinity with him.

Kind of strange for me to not fully root for the yandere for once.

That said, Jirou was always one of my favorite chars and his fully released form is awesome.

Does the author worked as Azuma Kiyohiko at some point? There are just too many similarities in style, and paneling technique employed. Not to mention some of the comedic expression.

Onodera might realize Chitoge over heard her, then it appears Chitoge over hears Raku talking with Shu and learns Raku likes Onodera as well (going to assume she misses the part where he admits he likes her too). She walks away from Raku at the end which might spark something in raku.

If they're setting up
a misunderstanding like this it's basically dunzo. That all but says he's gonna clear it up and say something to the tune of "he does like Kosaki but he loves her".

Yep, probably after a scene where he's alone with Onodera and then he or both realize they prefer each other as friends now that they finally have the opportunity to date. Onodera is probably the one that even pushes him to chase Chitoge before she leaves forever since this'll naturally expedite her leaving for America for no reason.
