I dunno what this arc is called but whatever.
Anyway this arc was pretty damn good, but kind of dragged on in parts. The end was pretty fantastic however annd the expansion of the lore in this series is awesome. The war parts keep on getting better and better.
I don't think this was as good as Ouki's arc but it was still pretty damn awesome overall.
And FINALLY, at the end, we officially have Shin in armor. Good lord why did it take so long? The dude's been putting him in armor on the covers for ages now!

And did he really say the crew member thing? Pretty tired of people always using the "Luffy said he only wanted 10 crew members" thing from the very first chapter and the ensuing arguments that occur about whether or not Luffy himself counted.
I always thought there would be new crewmates post timeskip. If it will be as long as the first half and no one gets added and everyone just gets added to the back as the Final Arc army then what the hell

Joke aside, all those years ago I thought/hoped Shirahoshi would join the crew.
New Strawhats? I dunno I kind of want to stick with what we have right now and develop them further. Right now the Strawhats are at a stagnant in this regard which Oda needs to fix imo. The manga is going to be boring if they're just going to pile on character-after-character.
Jinbe fits somewhat and everyone knows that he'll eventually sail with the Strawhats at some point, but...anyone else would be rather meh.
Law would work but only as an allied crew. I think it would be stupid for him to abandon the Heart Pirates to serve under Luffy.
With the theme of the New World and Luffy's desire to conquest the seas in retaliation to people like Big Mom and Blackbeard, I'm hoping that the allies Luffy gets will be more on a military basis. Law could be one of the pirate crews he forms an alliance with for example. That way he actually stands a chance if he were to declare war against one of the Yonkou or the World Government.

I had tricked myself into thinking a female logia was going to join because it would fill two spots that needed some filling.
It seems most bounty hunters are incompetent in One Piece. I really doubt there are any who can snag any bounties above 300mil+, if they were that strong they probably either went Pirate or Marine anyway.
Zoro used to be a pretty strong one and look at him now.
But yeah, if there was one bounty hunter who actually took those jobs that would be cool.
He have health problems and work addiction.
So his break is very different from those Miura/Togashi in nature.
