Well this sport apparently gives them a lot of cash, plus it could be seen as character building since you are going against people from all sorts of sporting disciplines in a "new" sport.

I think it was supposed to be for sale.
The bass lacked a price tag and Yassan was really uncomfortable parting ways with it, plus Nick refers to it as "my bass", so I interpreted it as Yassan selling it cause he had a thing for Yuu and Fuuka, even though he wasn't supposed to.

Koe No Katachi - 62 - End
Last arc or this series was a bit of a disappointing with everything going perfeclty, and this ending is an extension of that.
Even Ueno just changed personalities in the last few chapters and gave up on Ishida.
Still no actual dating between Ishida and Nishimiya, but hey, they held hands!
Best thing of the chaptet was the reveal that Ueno is now going down the Yuri route.

Tokyo Ghoul ch47-79
Well that certainly was an enjoyable arc. I found the pacing and narrative to be much stronger, and we get introduced to new characters, some of which are pretty entertaining (was Juuzou making a Jojo reference?) or interesting. There seems to be a bigger emphasis on fights, but so far they were all pretty good, as none of them felt dragged out.
Kaneki's... treatment, and the ensuing transformation was pretty brutal. Poor guy just can't catch a break. I did find his jump in power surprising though, awakening or not. I'm guessing there will be a proper explanation later? His shift in personality is to be expected, though not unwelcome, and I must say it makes him more intriguing as to what actions he may undertake next. He's finally stopped to just getting dragged around and seems to have a goal in mind, or a semblance of it.
Touka gets more development as well with the introduction of her brother and a flashback, although she herself didn't really get much time to act or shine. She seems to be stuck in a lull right now, but I hope she'll take action soon. Same thing for Hide, who has been rather lacking in screentime these past few chapters.

Koe no Katachi 62 END
The definite "high point"
of the series was Ishida's fall. Everything after that increasingly got worse until we reach a rather poor, not very satisfying conclusion. Even with the issue of everything getting wrapped up so perfectly with Ishida waking up, I think the main problem this series had was the treatment of the secondary characters (which is partially the reason for the first issue). Nothing really comes of characters like Mashiba, Kawai, and most disappointingly Ueno. Mashiba's still fucked up (and not really that interesting), Kawai is still completely delusional, and Ueno went from (in my opinion) the most interesting character in the whole series to "figure it out yourself, b-baka!" and getting mad at the girl that won in a lol comedy manner.
For a series that got as dark as it did with attempted suicide, horrific elementary school bullying, etc. it didn't even attempt to take any risks with the conclusion.
I'll definitely check out the anime version (if only for the reactions, lol) but I'm still very disappointed.

I'm so salty over Ueno. All this time spend developing and exploring her character only to watch her become generic anime losing girl #12432649 as soon as Ishida wakes up. What a waste of a character.

Good man. I've totally forgotten about Oresama Teacher, I'm going to have to reread it at some point. It's too bad the translations fucking suck.
