his friend/collegue was actually a dude
until the zombies attack LOL.

Also that memory of the meeting of the MC and his assistant at the end was touching.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Vol 1-3

So uh...wow. Where to start.

Everything about this manga hits a homerun thus-far. The art is amazing, the world and setting is very detailed and beautifully crafted, the sense of adventure and wonderment is an all time high, and all of the characters are deeply interwoven into the multiple plotlines taking place in this world.

The entire package of this manga is just well-done. I have to give Viz credit where it's due, they did killer with this release in terms of how quality everything is in it.

The paneling is nothing but a stroke of genius. Everything feels lifelike and makes sense from panel to panel, of course this is to be expected because Miyazaki is an animator.

My only issue with it really is that the action scenes are hard to follow at times, and Nausicaa is pretty much a standard central character that hasn't outright gone through any defining arcs. Maybe this changes, we'll see, as I have five more volumes to cover.

But so far, this is A+ stuff and I highly recommend it. Easily one of the best adventure manga I've ever read.

Took 13 years but this is Hayao Miyazaki at his very best.

Without much spoilers, I would advise you to pay close attention beliefs and moral values of every different group / tribe. Most fantasy works has a tendency to adopt modern values in the society it portrays instead of something which co-relates to their backgrounds in the world.

Story was fine, it was just cause after catching up to volume 10 I hit the yearly wait between volumes and I just stopped caring.

Yo Tokyo Ghoul:Re sold really well just in 3 days. Even with that ending (Granted I thought it was awesome) people are still following the series. The novel of Tokyo Ghoul is selling well too.

Akatsuki no Yona got a boost as well even if it isn't that big.

OnePunch Man selling really well without an anime, then again it probably won't get an anime adaptation.

A (another) spin-off this time about the four main female members of Fairy Tail.

This ranks in the why even have this department just before the Kid Gray one but after the Mahou Shoujo Wendy one.

Is this Suzuka? I still hate the ending for the manga, so confusing and frustrating.

Tokyo Ghoul RE Chapter 14

Someone please explain the last page, it completely flew over my head. Are they exchanging something that Haise owns? I have no clue. Also, with Urie (the one who's thoughts are shown and is pretty mean) becoming full ghoul will be interesting to see. Can't believe I'm loving Tokyo Ghoul so much more after each chapter!

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this light-hearted romance comedy. The art is good and the story is charming. I didn't expect it to end at Chapter 20 though and I guess the way it ended is quite in line with the tone of the story but I do feel that it could be more satisfying maybe with just a few extra chapters. A nice short, sweet light-romance -- recommended.
