If its Animation its already dead due to Murata and Toei (unless they decide to shell good money consistently but lol no)
If its story then there is also a high chance since there isn't a lot of Murata content but the story itself could be alright since it has those moments of Saitama just doing random hero shit and not being a part of some arc.
Might depend on how many episodes it gets.
Are there people who actually believe otherwise?
Because it doubt this series would have gotten the time of day if not for Murata's art

dakku I named like 15 cats in MH4U after people from the thread so far and yours is the only one that insists on staying at level 3. Everyone else is at like level 7 minimum. Please try harder.

I remember reading the first volume a while back, because someone had recommended it to me with a lot of praise for it. I never really could get into the "NEET is reincarnated/summoned to fantasy world" genre, but that volume pretty much confirmed everything I knew I wouldn't like about it. Mainly Rudy. The way he acted, looked down on others, and all that just rubbed me the wrong way, especially since there was practically no consequence from it, especially from his perversion. I'm fine with perverted male leads, but Rudy got away with it so often that I just didn't feel it. On top of that, it really seemed to be falling into the simple "the MC is the best, look at how much better he is than everyone else" kind of story.
Confirmation bias? Maybe.
Of course, that was solely just what I got from volume one. The amount of praise that this series probably means it gets a lot better, but after the first one, I just couldn't feel like wanting to continue.

Precisely that was my reason for saying that the first volume is the worst and the biggest hurdle the series has. I didn't liked it all that much, to be honest, but I carried on. Can't say I wasn't creeped during a few parts of it, too, especially in the way he behaved. Curiously, most of the worst traits disappear almost completely after leaving his house which happens in the first or second volume, so I recommend to keep reading until the arc where he becomes a private tutor to decide if you want to carry on reading. That, or reading the manga where the creepiness gets toned down massively and picking up from the second volume of the Light novel, which is where the manga is currently
