Melancholy World 00

A disease sweeps through the world where those affected forget the most important person to them. By chance, one who's affected meets the one he forgot.

A really nice one shot. It's done very subtlety, but it sets the mood just right and you can't help wanting to know about their past relationship and what the future might bring.

It'll be interesting to see how this is fleshed out into a full series now.

I've hardly been reading manga in the last year. I used to post so often here! I haven't even kept up with one piece. I used to love reading that every week. I was up to date with I Am a Hero, but then they didn't release the newest volume for kindle... I think I'm only up to date with Boku wa Mari no Naka. I used to also be up to date with Otoyomegatari, Vinland Saga, and Billy Bat. At least I'm up to date with Berserk and HxH hahahaha.. ha...

I should just push and get up to date with all my stuff. I took a break from Naruto, after reading it weekly for ten years, last year... still haven't finished that piece of crap.

Don't bother with Naruto, just read the last chapter, it actually feels like the good old days where characters meant something. Also, you poor soul... A year of being busy?! You gotta take some time on the weekend to read if you're this desperate lol

This just feels different than the one shot. It feels less about the romance and the forgotten memories and now more about a city that floats and this mysterious girl that suddenly appears.

It does look fantastic, this floating city is something that would look pretty nice colored in. I'm just more disappointed the romance and memory forgetting disease has taken a back seat here.

I don't know why I stopped reading this other than I was probably really focused on Uni, Kiyoshi's idea of how to get a girl to kiss people is really messed up thanks to what happened with Hana, I could see what happened with Shingo x Anzu as soon as he mentioned the bottle. Still I would ship Kiyoshi x Hana even though he currently likes Chiyo, but I guess she'll have more significance as the story goes on.

I also saw the Wing's Hana figure, it's quite detailed, even comes with a little cut up plastic bottle.

I started reading this again recently and its fucking hilarious.

The water bottle gag is so funny, I love how he convinces Shingo to do it, almost makes Gakuto try it and then later when Hana asks him why he is popularising it he genuinely seems to think its an effective way to get somebody to kiss you.

Hana is mad lusty for Kiyoshi, she is the first actual well written tsundere I've ever seen..

Nope, it will happen in a week or two but it's pretty low priority. More than anything I was just really surprised to see it get a second volume at all.

Manga-wise I'm still somewhat keeping up with all the ongoing stuffs but got too lazy to post about anything nowadays, it's animu and gaming that's been getting the short end of the stick. Let's see if Bloodborne can change anything.

Don't know sale wise but ranking wise Psyren was not doing well throughout it's last year of life. 75% of the year it was in the bottom 4 spots, the other 25% of the time it was 5-8th spot. For the final 10 weeks of it's life it was almost always in the 2nd bottom spot and when it did move it only moved up to the third or fourth bottom spots.
