But you know, this is just about the similar list of popular works that get circled around over and over. I think it's only when you develop your own personal preferences that manga recommendations get much more meaningful.

You might know this Uso but there was an anime I saw as a kid that dealt with martial arts that had the same animation as Ranma 1/2. I only remember one episode where one of the characters (maybe it was the protag) lost his super strength and tried getting back it, he did by the end of the episode when an old man (?) came and showed him a diagram that connected a bunch of lines to the center of his abdomen and that fixed the problem after he did something... Pretty vague so my bad.

I read 20 chapters of this manga and I think it's very clumsy with its execution. It's all over the place and you can feel that the plot moves because of the author's intend. The story just doesn't progress smoothly.

The same premise in a different hand, say Tsutomu Takahashi who did Skyhigh, would be better. Even then, it's not by much.
