tbf i had low expectations of the adaption looking good from the moment it was annouced but it seems they want to go further down with that, bleh

Damn, you caught the unedited version before I re-read it and decided the joke went a bit too far and decided to censor it down to make it less creepy.
Umaru will look like a romcom character even when she's got the bear thing on. They'll also manage to get in fanservice shots even when she's in her lazy mode because of it. Look forward to it.

Well, that's more like it. Hmm... It may well even be a little too much in the other direction (no plot, just action), but hey. So after the first two slow episodes, we take a good glimpse at the actual menace.
I can't recall if Zetman was actually the title I saw compared to a comic book some years ago in an article, but it indeed feel more like a comic book than a manga to me. The over the top scenes (
) and an enemy as dangerous and sinister as he is ridiculous could well come from a super hero title.
Nice. Not groundbreaking but a solid supernatural actionner. And quite good to look at.
The real trial will be to see if the author can do action and plot in the same issue.

I honestly have no doubt she will win, this type of series unfortunately always plays it safe.
Natsuo still has to date library girl, maybe after a failed secret relationship with Hina, before getting to Rui.
As long as the drama is fun I won't be too annoyed.
Given how he's been eating a slice out of that pie every arc so far, it makes me wonder if it's going to continue like this until he's a second year.

Kuroko no Basket Extra Game 1 and 2
American's and foreigners are evil and will hurt you because this is manga troupe is out in full force. Not to mention they're comically evil. Pretty much ruins my enjoyment when it turns into something like this. Hajime no Ippo did something like this before with a WWII GI and I felt the same way.
Guess they found away to turn the GOM into underdogs/the good guys....if only it wasn't so half-assed.

Yup, there is Gurren Lagann manga with school setting. I read them before, and all i remember is that it parody usual school comedy setting with childhood friend and stuff.

Assassination Classroom 1-2
I didn't feel like reading Tokyo Ghoul and this is one of the recent series that picked my interest because of the positive feedback I read here (and AnimeGAF seems to like the Anime too).
Based on the premise I feared a dark mood, but I was quite wrong. The manga is pretty lighthearted so far.
As much as I liked what I read I'm still not sold on the durability of the concept. There is firstly a quite big suspension of disbelief needed, writing wise, the whole destroying / teaching dichotomy being rather important. And how many episodes can you write on the world menace who is also a super nice teacher topic before things become stale ?
It was lighthearted, the teacher part was quite heartwarming, and I had a nearly-LOL moment with the professional baseball player. So far it's a great read.
And let me say that based on the handful of mangas I read so far, the topic title couldn't be more far from the truth ( ^_^)
