Excellent color page for a really intense at times chapter. Scene on the nurses bed was the best part.
Cameo from the first couple was nice, if only they could have been nicer but they did say thanks in the end of that class group.

Okay, let's say Soma fails and Yugioh is like "I told you you suck." What does this actually add to the story? I would say its nothing beyond proving the Elite 10 is good at cooking. Except we've already been told about a billion times that the Elite 10 is good at cooking and there's no plausible way Yugioh is going to be better at cooking than Shinomiya is, so its not like Soma's going to be shocked at cooking that's better than anything he's ever had. He has to beat Yugioh in at least some aspect of the festival or the arc isn't worth writing.
The only reason I can see Soma not making it onto the Elite 10 is that it ruins some of the surprise - for example, pretty much every arc so far involves Soma getting himself involved in shit that he doesn't know enough about in advance and joining the 10 means it would start to become implausible that he doesn't know about the stipulations at the festival or tournaments, etc.

Several scenario i could think how he do it.
- Premade chinese food/bento: Soma only need to warm it during the day of festival, and food like curry usually taste better after letting it cool down in refrigerator
- Self service booth: customer choose their own food and Soma only need to handle the register
- Soma being crazy awesome handling all the customer using his mad skillz
lol at Soma face.
I wonder if Totsuki will give loan to students so that they can create their booth? Considering the amount of customer, i can see them doing it.

Soma already used the gimmick of performance cooking and he's already aping part of the Camping Trip gimmick (stealing from a big line).
My guess is that he will have more than himself as employees and we're almost certainly going to see more of Qipao (who is explicitly not in a RS and a Chinese specialist) to tell him how to not be shitty at Chinese food.
I'm gonna laugh if Qipao ends up in the harem.

I think he (and most people) assumed him telling her outright he didn't want anything to do with her and the attempts on her life might maybe dissuade her a bit. They didn't. XD

To be fair, he didn't want anything to do with Naruto either (e.g. him asking wtf was wrong with Naruto at the Land of Iron bridge,) and she tried to kill him, too (but couldn't go through with it.)
And there's the fact that she was the only girl he didn't find repulsive to touch.

mention of stalker-kun reminded me that Soma has all those scrubs indebted to him for returning their heirlooms. I guess that would be his workforce, at least the ones who aren't tied down to other booths already.
I think Hisako would be a nice move - like she has to compete against Erina at some point, and she's buddies with Soma.

They said all of the Research Societies have their own booths, so that takes out a lot of people, e.g. Megumi (she's in the "local delicacy RS").
That said, I think the author made a Quidditch mistake*, which is that the graduate count is just way too low. How the fuck are there all these people in the school if the graduate count is essentially just "people on the Elite 10."
*Quidditch in Harry Potter is a throwaway sport with impossible rules, but once the series got really popular, the author realized that it made no sense as a competitive sport, so she started finding reasons to not have matches in the books at all.
