Need another winter coat - was thinking about picking up a parka. Any suggestions? Preferably nothing too expensive ($100 to $200 USD?)
At that price point, I think the only places would be Forever 21 or H&M. Honestly, for something like a winter coat, which needs to be well structured and durable, $100 won't get you much. The next step up is probably Uniqlo, and then maybe Jcrew or Banana.
I'd go with something versatile like a classic pea coat. Looks great with jeans without looking too fussy.

What I was worried about. Should have bit on the CK one on Amazon for $70 a month back. Bah.

Does Uniqlo ship to Iowa yet? Last I checked they didn't do online stuff or shipping.
no stretch that i've seen IME, and overall grifoni is TTS. that said the half sized rear patch jeans are slim through the leg and thigh, so maybe consider going up one if have meaty legs and such.Mac, found a pair of grifoni I want. Are they tts, any stretch?

They should, though since Sandy I think they've taken the online store offline temporarily. The store went live in mid-October.
There's also burlington Coat Factory if there's one around you. They have name brands for coats like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein but their obviously of a much lower quality once you feel them. They are usually around $100 or less depending on the coat.
They have a few on there that look alright. I'd like a coat that's not long. One that doesn't go below my crotch. For some reason I hate long coats.
Might have to look into this.
alucrid, are they custom/group orders or something? and mind if i ask $?
Three months? Did you pick which horse you wanted the boots made from or something?ordered these boots
now i have to wait three months
Really depends on what style of coat you want and for what purpose.Out of all these coats, which do you think looks the best?

I think it looks great Purg3, and seems to fit your body type pretty well compared to others that are just straight going down and boxier. What is the brand/name for the one you finally got?
speaking of new apcs
Some guys need to figure out that they can't pull off wearing a cardigan. If you're not slender or if you don't have an average build please don't bother.

Finally found a new pea coat that fit me fairly well, at least I think so. I tried on a few different ones from a bunch of places and this seem to work the best, the others were super wide on me and looked like I was wearing a box. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, my camera is dead right now. What say you, fashion gaf?
What if you're really buff?
Damn, is that pre-stretch?
Menswear OT: Not Sure If Joke Posts
Dooo it.
Costume national and Neil Barrett have stiff like this on yoox right now if you're feeling fancy, and if you're a bargain hunter type costume national footwear in general is easy to get at low prices.absolutely wasn't, sorry if i'm in the wrong thread, but...yeah some of those are sharp, thanks man!
your body type is similar to mine, what kind is that?
Not sure if joke post
Would you consider it a joke post if some goofy looking designer had one recently in a show and Alucrid had just spent 700$ on a pair.
Need clothing advice:
1. I love Clark's Desert Boots (Beeswax) and I've gotten several compliments on them. Unfortunately, I find the bottom of the shoe gets really dirty easily. Is this kind of inevitable, or is there a way to keep them cleaner?
2. Looking at winter coats right now and I saw some for a good price at Macy's (really great deals today) and Banana Republic.
Macy's coat
BR coat
Which would GAFers recommend? Are there any other good options for classy winter coats? Not really a fan of the puffy, wrinkly sports coat look.
Eh, I'm built like a slightly melted duplo block and I stand by my cardigan-wearing rights.

What are some good colognes to look into? Acqua di Gio gets a lot of mentions, but I'm not sure it's the right one for me. What do you guys use?
