I use an older model of the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer. Has a bunch of different settings for length and works really well. The one I have has an attachment that you can use for shaping as well, so it works for both trimming and shaping facial hair.

Hmm, just got a $50 Amazon gift card in the mail for credit card rewards and had no clue on what to use it on, maybe I should just drop it on this.

Still need to drop like $400 on a Saddleback briefcase, and would like to get a nice watch before summer too... this thread kills me.

Keep in mind it's a beard trimmer, so you're only going to get the full value if you can grow a decent amount of facial hair to begin with. If you can, and you're looking for something to maintain a certain length, then that's what you want.

However, if you're just looking for something to shape a goatee or mustache or something, or you have difficulty growing a decent amount of facial hair, you should just look into some kind of mustache/beard shaping tool, which are much cheaper.

I know there's a (non-moving) Hair OT, but posting here because I've mentioned my hair before. Got a cut today and the stylist tried something new. Basically what you guys mentioned (which I had before) but to a greater degree, and no bangs.

Still deciding if I like it, the no bangs is a big difference for me. Thoughts?

Your best cut yet, imo.

I started working a temp job at an accounting firm this week. I have a few Business professional things that have carried me through these first few days but I think I need to do some shopping this weekend. I really enjoy nicer casual clothes, but this business professional stuff is kind of a pain. I think I will hit up Century 21 this weekend to get more socks, shirts, ties, and hopefully some pants. I will browse the sport coats while I am there.

What do you guys think are some must have professional clothes?

I know paragon sporting goods will have bags, but they will tend to be modern nylon sportsman type stuff, so probably not what you are looking for. Is Brooklyn industries no good for you?

Business professional. Most people in the office aren't wearing suits, but they are wearing nice pants, shirts, and dress shoes.

I need a messenger bag for school. Never heard of Brooklyn Industries, but I will check them out Sunday. Thanks dude!

Edit- Also C21 is having 90% sale on clearance stuff. Probably all gone now, but you might luck out.

I'm looking for black super skinny jeans size 29. I found some Dior ones, but I don't feel like shelling out $600 after spending that much on boots. Anyone know where I can get some good ones for $400 or less?

We've got the Naked & Famous Super Skinny Guy in Black Power Stretch over at BlueOwl. Size 29 is in stock too. Measurements are on the site too just in case.

I like the styling (and they're cheap!), but I'm not sure if they are skinny enough. Is the picture on the site a reasonable example of how skinny they are? When I say skinny, I mean nearing megging territory (though not quite that far). I'm also looking at

http://shop.nudiejeans.com/en/product/2104/org-black-black

if anyone has any experience with those, though I hate the back pocket design. Anyone have any experience with Acne? They have 'skinny' jeans available right now, but they don't look that skinny to me.

The pictures are pretty accurate, the Naked & Famous definitely aren't the skeletal style fit you're looking for.

I'm not well versed in that style so I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would fit what you're looking for, sorry.

Both the pairs of Nudies I've bought have worn out and ripped in the crotch within three months. Apparently a common occurrence.

Within three months? That's definitely not a common occurrence from what I've heard. Nudie isn't my favorite brand but they should be more properly constructed than that.

My coated Slim Jims are starting to go. Sucks, I really like them and they seem hard to find. I do walk pretty long distances in my jeans though.

Just found a black Norse Projects Odin jacket half price, which I really like the look of for a boxier item for the coming (southern hemisphere) winter. Grabbed that and some Cheap Mondays chinos now I have some cash again.

How much is slp denim where you are? I imagine the cut is pretty similar to Dior and mr.porter has some for £250 which is around your budget

I'd never go untucked to a wedding! Especially in chinos.

Never worn a cardigan either, have never been able to actually picture myself in one, I don't have those dashing good looks to pull one off without looking odd. Ill check some out though. Grey pants though? I can't picture this in my head, it just looks horrible on me. :p

A blazer like this, with grey pants and white shoes? White undershirt?

Not $300 but it could work.

I have one seersucker blazer. i usually wear it in summer events with charcoal pants, black shoes, white shirt and dark blue tie with small white dots.

what are you so confused about? ... that it's not cut like a leather jacket from the 60's? it's a oversized collar, and no, it's not "really thin".

stay classy (and not like that cotton you're wearing).

not me, not cotton

funny you wouldn't recognize something the guy in your avatar made.
