Where do you guys get shorts? (No cargo, knee length). I need some for summer and I wanted to find somewhere that had good ones in a variety of colors so I could buy 3-4 pair. I'd rather not break the bank either.

target? i prefer their shorts over h&m. i wear a 31 in 511s and size down for a good fit in these.

actually, the target merona shorts are not bad at all. I have a pair for yardwork I got on megadiscount a couple years ago, and they are holding up fine.

word. i don't feel bad about getting them dirty because they'll hold up in the wash too. target has been my go-to for shorts, v-necks, and socks for a while now. i feel like target gets a bad rap around here, but then again this thread is more high end and not the dappered.com crowd.

I found out last weekend that JC Penny has new plain t-shirts that are very nice material for $10. I grabbed a few colors to go with shorts for my simple summer wear. Now for shoes... I have one pair of Sperry's that are a grey-ish color (kind of grey/blue) but am not sure what else to get.
Do brown Sperry's pretty much go with any color?
I like, where'd you get it and do they have other colors? I like my peacoat for winter, so a spring jacket in a similar style would be nice.

Ya but I don't even step in the WAYWT or classic menswear threads. They got some active informative threads for niche brands that I keep an eye on. If nothing else the Official Sales Alert thread is a goldmine for those who like that aesthetic and want to accumulate it cheaply.

I'd argue it doesn't look good anyway but kind of like Coldvein was saying, the part that makes it look somewhat appealing is the fact that it's Daniel Craig and how the clothes accentuates his physique. It would look like trash otherwise.

White shirts generally look great with light grey suits, but I agree, that suit looks way too big on him. Maybe it's just the photo though. Generally Bond suits are extremely well done.
Pretty close yeah. Actually looking at his stats it says he's 5'10 172 so yeah not far off.
I understand what you're saying though. I dont know that I agree it would look like trash. It's very basic imo. I'm not a fan of looking trendy or hipster, metro or over the top. I'm drawn to simple and clean.
That said I'll try something like that on and see what it looks like. Question is where to go for the clothes. I'll check out the OP again.

Oh I gotcha. Some burgundy/cherry brown brogues would look rad with that outfit.
The pieces are alright, it's mostly just too much blue. I think the outfit would look incrementally better with some color thrown in, even if that color is just white, grey or brown.

My pleather jacket from H&M's been holding up just fine for more than two years. No unusual wear, tears, loose stitching, or anything of the sort.
Anecdotal evidence, of course. As with any clothes, your quality mileage may vary.

Maybe the model is just really skinny and makes it seem skinnier but it definitely looks skinnier than most suits. I wish I could find another picture of it.
