Early raw rating info shows ratings are down. The number of viewers dropped quite a bit so final should be a 3.0 or 3.1. Bad news WWE.

Fans have probably caught on that Wrestlemania build means nothing and they don't really take any chances with ANYTHING till after Mania.

hmmm.... I hate to think that my current wife was Chyna.

DAMN.
I'm so sorry for anything I just said, I wish this fate upon no one.

Would have stayed high if Kane had a full entrance.
And if Kane had beaten up the man whose name......is Randy Orton (can't believe they did nothing with that bit)

why cant wwe just be like Nitnendo

WWE losing their magic? or are we just getting old?

There have been times where the build was better than the show. I am hoping that the show will be better than the build this time, because this has been one of if not the worst build to WM I can ever remember in my life. I mean they have dropped the ball every week.

Next week will probably have a huge bump in ratings. I just hope the RAW before the show is not a snooz fest. I really want to by excited.

STOP SHITTING ON MY MOTHER'S HEADSTONE
And I apologize if that's wasn't meant as a slight but everyone was shitting on them last night.
Hey Jericho isn't that young either. And if he didn't want to be in Steph's pants that's his fault. Snooze you lose!

But hey storyline wise both Taker and Jericho gave it a shot. HBK was too busy with Sunny..and heck Steph must have been underage at the time..

Just ask Macho Man!

The problem isnt their age specifically, it's that it's three guys who we see wrestling like once or twice a year, and they're taking up ridiculous amounts of air time and attention from the guys who are actually going to be carrying the company going forward. Cena/Rock at least has the benefit of including their biggest current active star
not that he really needs to be put over any more
.

And all they do is go BLAH BLAH BLAH THIS BUSINESS GOING TO END IT HELL IN A CELL GET THE JOB DONE ETC ETC, for like 15 minutes at a time, and as the main event of the show. Meanwhile their biggest championships are treated as second tier stuff.

"The 3/19 edition of Raw did a 3.1 rating, with 4,382,000 viewers. The show did hours of 3.14 and 3.06. More disturbing is that they lost 216,000 viewers from hour one to hour two, despite The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker all being scheduled to appear. There was extra competition with the debut of this season's Dancing With The Stars but still, those are scary numbers."

At least the Rocky/ Cena stuff is "fun". The HHH/Taker stuff is TERRIBLE, thanks largely to Taker's performances. Dude needs to retire, like, now.

Move them to SmackDown.

Maybe there is just no correlation between the placing of segments and viewers gained/lost later in the show.

The whole micromanagement of segments for the purposes of keeping viewers is so asinine. Just put out a good product and people will watch. Why do they make this so complicated?

Midnight Wrassle-GAF was like the incredible Hulk Hogan porn thread. The best gifs of all time, but going absolutely creepy in here.

The first Midnight experience I saw...involved Spindashing and people who looked too far too young to ever look sexy to me.

/shivers

I'm still sad I was banned while that Hulk Hogan thread was going. So much gold in there.

Do these numbers actually have any real meaning whatsoever? What gains and loses viewers week by week is so inconsistent that I can't see how they could really hold any value.

Clearly the WWE should be concerned with Apple selling 3 million iPads in a couple days of release. We're doomed everyone.
After the WWE network fails they'll be moving into hardware manufacturing as Vince's next mad scheme, WWE branded stuff for everything, after all demand for WWE has never been higher according to the boss himself.

Well I DO long for the days of their great N64 games, just like I do with Nintendo and their Zelda games!

except ocarina of time
Why did I highlight the spoiler!? DAMMIT BEEF!

I hate dirtsheets. What exactly about these numbers is "scary"?

A wrestling show should consistently build viewers from hour 1 to hour 2. You have the top of the hour which should always gain viewers and the overrun, which again should always gain viewers due to the original audience and people tuning in for the show afterwards. A pattern showing otherwise is very bad and it's been happening more often than not lately with WWE. Something in the show is turning people off and making people leave. These numbers without football on before the biggest show of the year is embarassing for them.

The show is a bit shit?

Anyone talking shit about the fate of NBA-GAF should be buried.

THATS ENOUGH! I don't think you realize how dangerous that thread has become.

It's not always about being number one, it's about threadding with bravery, honor, and respect, and always putting important sticky threads ahead of your own.

And that's somethign wrasslegaf has done every day of it's life.

Yeah it is, but it's definitely been alot worse before and the trend always had ratings increasing in the second hour even during WWE's lowest points. I remember it happening 1 time out of like 5 years before and the WWE thinking it was catastrophic, but since last summer it has been happening more often than not.

Maybe people tune in expecting to see the old WWE favourites brawl at the very least, instead the most intense it gets is an angry stare after a minor promo quibble, even the casual fan has probably deduced at this point that when WWE start hyping up a Taker/HHH promo for the show finale, well it's exactly that, a promo and nothing more.

Yeah, I really haven't enjoyed how they've handled Taker/HHH, and Rock/Cena. More than ever it feels like I'm watching people perform on a stage with these long winded BORING back-and-forth promo battles instead of watching badass athletes give warning speeches before a FIGHT. I'm so sick of the nose to nose stare downs, and guys turning their backs to head back up the ramp. I feel like I'm watching the same show on repeat every week.

just caught up on RAW.

Why the fuck would Rock Rock-bottom Henry instead of Cena after talking shit to Cena about coming to the aren to kick his ass ? Stupid wrestling logic.

It was only the opening match too....the double main event of Hieracon vs. Ophidian and The Colony vs The Batiri were my favorites from that show.

going to have to watch in a while, for right now it's Silent hill time.

SOOOOOOO GOOD CHIKARA.

We need to come up with a NWA chant like that at the start of our show.

Meanwhile you get to enjoy Alvarez dieing a little inside each time waiting for this old man to get through his scattered thoughts just so he can interject another question or comment for Meltzer to once again attempt to labor his way through.
I die a little inside every time I see your avatar isn't Daenerys. >=(

This annoyed me too. The lack of physical interaction and intensity has really annoyed me. Same with HHH/Taker. I don't believe they actually want to fight. It just seems as though they want to out-bullshit each other.
