March Wrasslin' |OT| The March to Wrestlemania XXXIII!

Braun backing out to me was more of a show of respect to Taker.

Taker wants Reigns too and Braun showed him respect...

Braun was ready to fight Reigns so it's not like he's somehow a cowardly giant.

But we'll see.

exactly how i interpreted it people overreacting here about Braun

So Braun calls out Roman, Undertaker comes out instead.

This makes Roman mad for....reasons? Now they're having a match at Mania?

This shit is mind numbingly stupid lol.

Reigns eliminates Taker at the Rumble and taunts him with his own "my yard catch phrase" this pisses off Taker

Strowman calls out Reigns and Reigns is ready to acquiesce because he's a fighter and blah blah blah.... but quite literally Taker cuts off his entrance showing him disrespect.

Strowman backs off Taker out of what I believe was respect

Reigns comes out cutting off Taker's exit,as a return favor for earlier, because as he said Strowman called him out not Taker and Reigns feels disrespected and that Taker is invading his turf because he's the Alpha Male now.

It's macho bullshit motivation, it does make sense, especially if they are planning on turning Roman and Strowman was definitely a face in his promo and Reigns was definitely heelish in his. Now maybe the hints will go nowhere and they'll fuck it up, they often do with Reigns but all the hints and plot threads are there.

Did not expect to see Taker this week. Got to see his entrance and choke slam. Didn't have to see him struggle through a match. Loved it. Entrance in person especially with the crowd losing their minds is something

Expect Nia to be added to the women's match at some point before Mania.

So regarding the whole AJ/Shane match that they seem to be building towards and what Daniel Bryan has said regarding part-timers taking up matches: What do you think the chances are or it coming to WM and AJ comes out first the Shane's music hits and he comes out and says that he's talked it over and realises he shouldn't be his opponent and introduces a new signing/NXT call-up.

Given how SD is running atm with only Cena as a major part-timer it does make sense in a way and would be an awesome debut for someone like Nakamura. Any chance of happening or just dreaming?

You know he's putting him over at WM, right?

Not that it's a good thing...

It's a great thing....

Reigns absolutely should win at Mania... it was one thing when Taker was beating guys like Shawn and HHH for years on end but then he started beating Punk and Bray and neither of them got shit out of it...

Taker 1000% should job to Reigns and the crowd response is going to be fantastic for it. Especially, and I hope this happens, if Reigns has to cheat to win.

Neville vs Aries
Neville vs. Aries still needs to be solidified. It's the primary title feud but they could always have the Cruiserweight guys in some kind of ladder match schmoz at Mania and have the 1-on-1 match betwen Neville and Aries on RAW the next night. So... not officially announced yet.

Yeah thats gonna happen. You should put money on it through the betting sites.

How was Sasha/Bayley on TV? Live was terrible. The story of "Bayley doesn't want to fight back" with constant Restholds and hugs until they started waking up near the end. And then Sasha acting like she had some amazing victory, ugh....

Was so stoked to see Emma's promo despite her never going to be on TV.

You're more likely to see Styles vs. Nakamura on Smackdown the Tuesday after Mania than at Mania itself.

It was alright, certainly not terrible but not a classic by any means.

Kurt Angle vs Rusev
:p
Given the way Rusev's being buried right now it would not surprise me to see him get squashed by Angle in an impromptu Mania match.
Give him a segment to bitch after not being allowed to compete in the ARMBAR and then have Angle come out and own him. Hell, that would get the loudest pop of the night.

Seems like there are more part time folks on the WM card than usual. Sucks that these guys don't show up every week and when they do, they don't wrestle or anything. It's kinda lame to have someone get called out one week and have to wait another for a response.

No salvaging Roman as a face after that Match. He just needs to destroy Taker with chair shots, etc. Just embrace it. 10 minutes of a post-match Heel turn.

Reigns beats Braun one PPV, Taker the next, Brock the next

I just watched it last week! It was on a full box set of the Nightmare series.

I think it's actually Braun, Taker (turns heel), and Goldberg. If they're gonna turn Roman heel, having him beat Goldberg (maybe with Lesnar interference) would give him the nuclear level of sustainable heat he needs. I think they were planning to turn him heel earlier, but losing Balor immediately had them keep Reigns face till they could get another top tier face in RAW. Now it's not just Rollins - you will have Rollins, Balor, and possibly Jericho as your top tier faces (plus Nakamura / NXT call up), while Owens, Joe, Reigns, Stroman as your top tier heels.

It's sad but this is what Mania season is all about. Tune back into wrestling on April 10th and you should have non-part timers driving the ship again. Apart from Lesnar who will be Universal Champion on a part-time basis (as usual). Hopefully we get a decent Brock vs. Owens match at some point (before the inevitable job to Roman to make him look strong).
