An ant has no quarrel with a boot

But why am I the poster child for Memphis style feud hate? Bill got flack because he decided to be a dick about my work, end of. Don't do that and there's no beef!

... Except with the long standing hatred I have for FallingEdge
But ya, my Berserk Button is blatantly obvious, don't press it and it's party all the time

I thought Swagger was a good hand for the midcard, decent mix of technical and power moves, entertaining but nothing really special.
Certainly not WHC material which in turn led to his flimsy ankle lock which must be one of the least successful submission finishers for someone who was once in an upper card spot.

I'll never agree to the idea that Ziggler has particularly good mic skills, even as a heel his promos were pretty bland and typical of your standard heel, of course it's not like he ever had much of a character to work with either.

If you want to claw your skin off, watch this battle of the promo skills:

Swagger's biggest problem is his lisp and talking skills, he seems to be a pretty competent wrestler. How was his character changed during his WHC run? I either forgot or just didn't watch it.

Things I will never associate with Dolph Ziggler: good mic skills.

This. It's even more amazing considering he wants to be a stand up comic. Maybe he feels more confident with his material there, but whenever he gets in front of a wrestling crowd he clearly clams up and botches his delivery.

Ahmed Johnson was pushed to the moon and had to stop twice because of issues outside of WWF's and his control. Big E is almost literally the opposite of that.

It was, well...literally forgettable. Which I remember when he DID get it, it was a huge shock and I figured they had some really cool stuff lined up for him. NOPE.
I remember him beating Orton clean at his first PPV then he began jobbing to guys like John Morrison after.

He's not a bad wrestler, just dangerous at times and has a fairly forgettable moveset. His character died years ago when they tried morphing him into Angle 2.0 and began wearing a suit acting all srs.

Just when i'd forgotten about Jomosapiens and his "Mr Ziggles" zinger, it's amazing how many of the midcarders from this period (some of which who are still around to this day) have such lackluster mic skills, it's like none of them ever got any opportunity on the mic and when they finally did they were fed the most bland stuff to spew.

He used to be boisterous and energetic, his WHC run eliminated all of the cockiness and entrance push-ups he had. He didn't have a lot going in, but watching ECW champ Swagger was a world of difference compared to WHC Swagger.

I'm not one to care about demographics and busisness side of things, but I watch slam city and am really wondering who is target audience for this...

Edit: Beaten like Rybaxel.

John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin are tied for worst goddamn promos ever
BRING A LUNCH
Morrison's big ECW promo where he revealed his new gimmick made me throw my TV out the window onto a child!

Ziggler needs to be booked with bryan in tag team matches while bryan is champ (if). On raw and after mania obviously. I could see him getting ziggler more noticed by wwe management.

I should not have gone in there.

I see, yeah I remember when he debuted in ECW and thought he was fine. I thought he was pretty much on the same level as Sheamus although Sheamus trumped him in speaking skills.

What are you doing Vince, you can't just tell a guy to eat 500 more calories. You can't just tell a guy to do difficult exercises without telling him how to do them properly.

Spider, if you want to grow muscle you do have to eat more. But you have to have make sure you're getting a lot of your calories from protein. Aim for getting 1g of protein per lb of lean mass that you want. For instance, if you want to be 200 lbs and 10% body fat (that's actually Zacked, but this is a goal), 20 lbs of you will be fat and so you want 180 grams of protein. That's 720 protein calories, as 1g of protein = 1g of carbohydrate = 4 calories (1g of fat is 9, btw). For the other 1,280 you should divide them more or less evenly between carb and fat. Don't worry about it as long as they're close, but remember that a gram of fat has 2.25x the calories of a gram of carb. And it will be fine if you get extra protein and split the rest. Drink water.

I'm going to have to do some research on the best way to maximize protein intake that doesn't involve meat. Most of my protein comes from beans, grains and nuts but there is no way I currently eat enough to cover 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight since I usually only eat twice a day.

Time to create a meal plan!

I can't believe that Daniel Bryan has a bus now. That was the biggest bombshell on tonight's episode, he's basically a made guy now.

The weird thing is when Bryan was on Stone Cold's podcast not too long ago, he talked about how he didn't have a bus, and how he and Brie drove around the country in a Nissan Altima.

I think you've made a wise decision.

...this makes me want to do it more. Dammit.

I coulda told you that! Remember, Wrasslegaffer Carnby got banned for calling someone a Fedora Warrior. Don't let his loss be in vain.

You can do fine even with a .75-1 protein-weight ratio. You're gonna feel better and you'll adapt to what works best for you.

Yeah, I'm on the feminist/RockPaperShotgun side of things, but even I knew better than to even click that. I'm not even curious about what the argument is. You don't start a topic with a title like that unless you are gearing for a war.

Edit: I'm not entirely sold on the humor of this Slam City thing, but damn, do they know how to use those entrance themes to maximum comedic effect. Nice job whoever is in charge of that.

It's funny how people assume that because they don't know a lot of female gamers, there must not be many. I know a good amount of women that play games. I worked in a GameStop throughout college and id say nearly half the customers were women buying games for themselves and not for their husband/boyfriend.

If I was WWE, I'd push Cody Rhodes before Ziggler. To my untrained eyes, they seem to be pretty similar in wrestling skills but Rhodes is just a much better speaker and actor overall. I thought his gimmick where he wore the mask was pretty entertaining.

That doesn't even make sense. Women play games. It's pretty much 50/50 now. I haven't met a girl my age since elementary school that didn't have a SNES/Genesis/PS1/N64/Gamecube/PS2/360/PS4/Wii or some version of a GameBoy in their house that they played something on. It's more of a flaw of perception, as gaming is still treated like nerds in dark basements even though it is a massive business and people of all ages are playing games of some kind all day. My grandpa spends 80% of his day shitting, napping, and playing Facebook casino games. Something that is still treated as super nerdy and lame for guys is treated doubly for women, but that's about it.

Dames play games.

Hey wrasslebros:

Is it possible to take screenshots on a PS3/360 without some elaborate capture setup? If so, how do I go about doing it? Google isn't providing a clear answer. I'm working on a UX study of the various WWE Network platform interfaces, and I could really use some clear shots.

Your best shot will be to find a video walkthrough of the 360 service someone else did and freezeframe it. If you want to take your own screenshots you might as well be setting up your own capture card for video.

Being a gamer these days is much easier than in the past. I used to be a "Nintendo freak" outcast, because... well, I liked NES! I liked playing NES games and talking about them, a lot.

But it wasn't cool at all.

Hard times man, hard times.

I guess there's no more metroidvania Castlevania games, that's kinda good and bad. While I concede the formula was getting a bit stale, I wasn't a huge fan of Lord of Shadows (although maybe my opinion would change if I played it on PC).

Oh man, we live in a golden age. When I was a kid, I had one game for children's day, one game for my birthday, one game for christmas and that was it. 3 games a year. Maybe a 4th one if something wonderful and special happened like me breaking an arm.

Now my steam list has 205 games on it.

I guess maybe if Gaming Side doesn't consider phone games to be games, which I can see being the case on that side, then maybe women never play games. Or maybe they don't know any girls. Or maybe they do and it just has never come up in conversation. Regardless, that's a stupid topic and no doubt will be a graveyard.

I love the tag team Survivor Series matches. They go on forever, but don't get dull because guys are constantly tagging out and there are new combinations every 45 to 90 seconds or so. 1987 was good, but I like the 1988 one better. Face team is so dope: Rockers, Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, Powers of Pain, Young Stallions. It's a 42 minute match and never feels like it because of how many tags and styles there are.

1987 had Bret and the Bulldogs trying to kill each other. But 1988 had the Brainbusters.

Really? Damn. There are some specific useability things I want to review, and I don't really see them on any of the walkthroughs I've seen (although admittedly, I haven't looked that hard).

I'll have to see what I can figure out-I really don't want to have to resort to taking pictures of my TV with my camera, but I'll do what I gotta do, I guess.

I know we have a couple people here who stream, I took my setup down unfortunately. Maybe a wrasslegaf streamer (Mr. Luchador?. maybe?) can help with what you need.

I was a N64 kid myself, and I still agree that being a gamer is easier these days.

I also have the lol at the fans not getting what they saw was a double turn and instead thinking Fuji turned face for the Powers of Pain. They cheer when PoP win, cheer when they put Fuji on their shoulders, and boo when Demolition attacks them. They had no idea it was a double turn.

I've probably played more Songpop and QuizUp on my phone this year than the time spent on all of my consoles combined this year lol.

So that videogame discussions delves into girls/boys being influenced to like certain things. You know, girls play with barbie, boys play with G.I. Joe. etc.

But I wonder how much is influence and some is just..well natural.

I think about wrestling and actions movies and no one specifically told me to like them because it's a thing men like. But was I brain washed into doing so because they (men) were painted in a positive light.

Did Gorilla Monsoon made me think Warrior looked awesome, or did I make up my own mind.

Would I have wanted to look all jacked from instinct, or just because everyone thinks it's cool?

Kids, it's a promotion for that fake Lego they have now.

No, it's a replacement for the WWE Rumblers figures. My local Toys R Us has completely replaced their Rumblers stock with these things.
Which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have stretchy arms... :/
The Stackdown fake LEGO are a separate thing.

Part of that is true, but I think the main reason little boys like wrestling is because little boys naturally like to wrestle and fight, so getting to see big ass dudes doing it on your TV is awesome.

I should not have gone in there.

Or maybe just not many women are as interested in video games as men.

God forbid that different genders have different tastes.
