If there is one complaint I have about the Roundtables that isn't just shitting on Michael Hayes (although he actually is one of the worst offenders) is how EVERYONE has such an inflated sense of ego and importance to what they do. Everyone is always so serious and goes on and on about RESPECT this and RESPECT that and can't step back and realize what they do is ridiculous and the complete lack of sense of humor when it comes to their jobs makes them look like a shit head.
No one ever steps back and laughs at the job being grown ass men dressing in colorful tights and play fighting. And everyone is always ready to blow smoke (DDP is usually the worst when he's on). The celebrity one is so annoying with the way that A. JR will shit on WCW for EVERYTHING any chance he gets, even when WWE has done something as bad or worse. B. Michael Hayes will do the same thing, but also put himself over. C. DDP tries to make everything sound so serious, bro.
JR shits all over Leno, Malone, and Arquette. This was as WWE had just come off WEEKLY celebrities on Raw for 2 years, with many of them wrestling or other wise being way involved with the show. DDP had to vociferously defend Malone (all show) until JR acknowledged that sure, Malone was okay. I guess. Fuck WCW, folks. It was especially weird when he talked about how great Kaufman/King was because Andy got it and it drew money, and would then still shit on WCW for Malone and Leno when those were two of the biggest PPVs WCW ever did. And Malone was a real athlete who trained for weeks for the match. Dude will just not give WCW credit for anything ever, even good things from while he was there. And all the shitting on Russo. It seems like no one will admit that he helped make them a lot of money and instead talk about how he didn't respect da business as often as possible because of his stupid and bad angles, as if fucking terrible/bad angles never existed in wrestling before 1998.
WWE has had Drew Carey in the Royal Rumble, Snooki and Maria Menudous wrestling at Wrestlemania, the Miller Light Cat Fight girls having 5 or 6 segments during a WM, Kevin Federline defeating John Cena, and had John Wayne Bobbitt in an angle with Val Venis. But KARL MALONE was JR's line of WCW fucking wrestling up forever. I don't know, JR's vendetta against WCW really makes me lose some respect for him, because he's always talking about professionalism, but would shit on WCW even when angles were using WCW to hype something up. Like during the Invasion angle or at WM19 when in one breath he put over Booker's 5 WCW Championships and in the same sentence said WCW was a joke.
