He had a greatest of all time run last year in the indies. In the stretch of 4 days he had 4 different, 4 star matches for instance (2x Rev Pro, 2x Evolve shows). That among the many many other matches he had with a huge variety of opponents all over the world.

But I'm not sure why the WWE is interested in him beyond taking away another drawing indie name for Hunter's vanity project.
