But honestly, this album is giving me everything right now. The only unusable track is the one feat. R Kelly. Everything else ranges from pretty good to genius. Meteorite is still the highlight for me, but I love a good old empowerment anthem so that was never going to be in question.

The album title is tongue-in-cheek. I think she's pretty self-aware, and she adopts a persona for the camera. But it's awesome, iconic, legendary etc. so whatever.

ALSO, how have I never seen that Time title generator before? It's an excellent educational tool. Only the Queen could expand my vocabulary in such a manner instead of relying on the same old boring words that we use for regular communication.

And Whitney only has 7, surprisingly. But Grammys are as much as game as they are about artistic recognition, as it seems you have to have smart teams who know what songs are best applicable for winning in whatever category they're entered into. I mean, I love Beyonce, but 17 Grammys?

To be fair, as much as I adore Mariah, you couldn't pay me to go to a show of hers. If she were to lip the whole time I'd be disappointed, and if she didn't lip, I'd spoil any enjoyment with a constant worry that she'll crack at any moment.

The album is full of manipulation and production around Mariah's voice, to be honest. I wouldn't be surprised if the album took so long because Mariah took numerous takes of just saying single words, and then having the engineers patch only the most divine sounding vocals together. Still an amazing album though.
