Go save up for some mulligans. You can get the coins needed while doing other stuff in the game and come back later when you have enough mulligans to do it with ease (You should only need a few). Of course, don't actually use any mulligans until you're well into a streak.

Just got the game for my birthday! Going to do a clear out of my 3DS friends list from... when I got Pokemon. If you still want to be on my list and you remember being so let me know beforehand -- my Mii initially was Yashigani but with the NNID transfer it became Slash so if you've seen that on that's me.
