Gold star all Grand Prix in 150cc.

pretty sure you don't need stars. only a gold throphy, which means getting first place as the end result. I unlocked one of the new DLC 200cc by getting 1st, 9th, 1st, 1st, gold trophy and no stars.

How are you downloading the DLC? What did you do? :S

When I started the game up, it told me that the DLC had been released and gave me a prompt to download it. The WiiU downloaded the update by itself. I'm in the UK, btw.

yes, you can play 200cc in VS race and Online without getting firsts in cups though

No seriously, try doing what you can to get used to powersliding; stick with a middleweight character and work your way up from there. It'll be very, very helpful.

I don't think I'm gonna use heavies for 200cc any more. I might try and practice with bikes since I never really use them.

Does anyone know the criteria for 200cc on random online or does it does it depend?

Still using that setup. Just have to tap the brakes on some turns, I'm sort of getting used to it.

Looks more like a standard shortcut than a "glitch". Nintendo themselves have demonstrated tons of new shortcuts thanks to 200cc, right when the update was announced. Why would they "correct" something they advertised?

Is that even faster? Sure, it's a straighter route, but you have more speed along the water than in the air.

do you search custom ww or just normal ww to find the 200cc lobbies?

Getting gold cups in 150cc takes too long, so I'll just get online and learn 200cc the hard way.

Never done online tourneys either actually. For the GAF tourneys you just race 48 times and it'll tally the results at the end, right?

Oddly enough, the one time we had it I fell off 0 times, even though I had the same problem in Mute City.

SNES Rainbow Road is pretty easy. Haven't played the MK8 one yet.
