Mario Kart World WALL JUMPS and grind explain GAME CHANGING

I really like how they've basically implemented platforming mechanics in a racing game. Looks super fun, and hopefully it makes the world a lot of fun to explore as well.

I'm not the biggest Mario Kart fan, I always get bored after a few races because I have no one to play with, but I think there is a lot of negativity about this game from the "core gaming" audience that they don't realize how big a deal this game is gonna be.

Tech that allows skilled players to blast and raises the skill ceiling is a welcome addition. There's enough comeback mechanics already to keep them in check.

"Core gamers" won't be happy until it goes back to be their ugly Mario Kart Wii.

If this moves mario kart toward the ctr skill expression world I am down. Mario Kart DS is still the best one for giving the player sonething to improve at.

It just looks really shallow and pointless when I see the wall riding as a K..a..r..t racing game IMO, say compared to the last good one - Mario Kart DS. Bikes, Flying, wide tracks and coins were already an answer: "because we can!" in the mediocre MK7-8-Deluxe, but this wall riding looks like desperation by people with no game director steer or pushback, because in the videos it looks like an anti-driving skill mechanic, where you just rail ride around any difficult (wide bend) needing you to MT.

Hopefully they've gone full anything goes with this game with a view to doing a proper purest Mario Kart GP (simulator) franchise split in the essence of DS version and all those versions that came before like Double Dash - to give me any reason to consider getting a SW2 down the line, but so far I've really disliked all new Nintendo games (except Splatoon) post-Miyamoto in the way I've really disliked most new Star wars post-Lucas from Disney (except Andor).

someday, mario kart could have grapple hook as well, or teleport or stomping enemies to double jump
just kidding, but maybe, just maybe...

anyway, this will add spiciness of the gameplay, i think MKW will have more chaotic than before just by 24 racer only, not counting new things...

I'm currently playing Doom Eternal. I don't want platform mechanics like this is in my Mario Kart, just as I don't want it in my Doom. Very curious to see reception of this

dont harv to use PLAY BASIC but good player like me RIDE WALL will pass you ahahahaha
It's surely going to be the meta. It looks like wallriding auto-drives for you too. So there goes the skill. 24 racers now instead of 12. Making Mario Kart more chaotic doesn't seem like an enjoyable time, but we will see. Nintendo needed to do something completely different to justify the 80$. Will it be better for it? Probably not

Damn this actually looks really fun.

I really dont want to buy a Switch 2, this is the only game im interested in right now, and i cant justify the buy in for one game.
Itll be a popular game for years to come, ill buy one after I see how the RTX60s look.

I already plays it at show DERSTOYS MK8 more people but waaaaaaaaay wide track and better gameplay Mario Kart 8 small track drift crud bumping stop every fronkin seconds WORLD MORE SKILL

If this is what Nintendo does with a Mario Kart game then I'm incredibly eager to see what they do with mainline Mario and Zelda this gen. It's going to be an insanely good generation.

I'm on OP's side when it comes to this being a good thing. Anything that brings me closer to another SSX is welcome.

Holy crap! I didn't even connect these two games. I absolutely love SSX3 so it might be why MKW entices me so much.

Edit: I now need an UBER-meter in Mario Kart too. They could call it Uber Mario or something.

We have Arnold Schwarzentuber, subtitles in your face because we assume you're retarded, and.... I didn't bother to check the last one.
