Iron Fist starts filming next week.
No production thread?
Production thread when?
Sunday.
💯💯👍🏾This thread is for the community to talk about ongoing announcements and updates on Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Not a dumping ground for random fanfiction about Fox's X-men movies.
I thought it fit enough. Sorry.
Douglas Petrie (Marvels Daredevil, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Marco Ramirez (Marvels Daredevil, Orange is the New Black) are set to return as showrunners to the Marvel Universe for the Netflix Original Series Marvels The Defenders!
Another alum from Marvels Daredevil, Oscar-nominee Drew Goddard (The Martian, Lost, Alias), will also join the team as an Executive Producer.
The Executive Producers and showrunners of Marvels Daredevil Season 2 will unite the Man Without Fear with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist for the mini-series event bringing our heroes together to face their biggest threat yet.
Cage = Tiara
Fist = Kick
What were the production names for DD and JJ?
Is there a Spider-Man Homecoming production thread?
Tony Revolori, from Grand Budapest Hotel, and Laura Harrier added to cast. Surprisingly diverse cast thus far.

According to Kevin Feige, Carol Danvers will appear in Captain Marvel first before appearing in Infinity War Part 2.

Peter is from Queens, so it makes sense to see such a diverse cast. Now let's cast an Asian American Marvel and Sony.

No Del Toro or John C Reilly for GOTG Volume 2.
is cloak and dagger confirmed to be a part of MCU?
Ah, damn. They were both great. Oh well, I'm sure Gunn will give us lots of new characters to love.https://www.facebook.com/jgunn/videos/10153301104251157/

Is there any Marvel Cinematic Universe Community thread? I know this thread is basically for unannounced projects, etc?
This is the community thread.

But? Look at this moderator's comment?
It sound like it's not a place for us to have some kind of discussions for general MCU topics. I know I probably took it too literal.

X-Men and Fox are not MCU-related.
That's because Fox's X-Men are not part of the MCU. General MCU topics are fine and under the scope of the thread ("Discussion on released and future projects").
EDIT: Yeah, what ^ said.
Where are all the infinity stones at now?
The Tesseract/Space stone is in Loki controlled Asgard.
The Aether/Reality stone is held by the Collector on Knowhere.
The Scepter/Mind stone is in Vision's forehead.
The Orb/Power stone is under guard by the Nova Corps on Xandar.
The Time and Soul stones are still uncounted for. Chances arethat the Time one is the Eye of Agamotto held by the Ancient One and soon Doctor Strange.
Working on AoU must have taken a real toll on the guy.
He needs to make the Dr. Horrible sequel first. No kiddin'.
I wouldn't mind if he did punch up work, but if he took on another Marvel film, I'd be worried. Mostly for his sake.

Joss Whedon reflects on his experience on Age of Ultron. interestingly enough, he says he's open to working with Marvel in the future.
Working on AoU must have taken a real toll on the guy.
I hope Whedon comes back to the MCU when he feels ready and enthusiastic again. I'm sure Disney would welcome him back considering he made them two $1.5 billion blockbusters.
I'm a noob when it comes to Marvel and the comics, the MCU is the only exposure to the brand that I have as the comics seem too much of a minefield for me to get into, so I've been wondering, who else do Marvel have in their stable that is considered a major character?
I've seen stuff about the Sub-Mariner being part of the original Avengers, are there any other major characters that haven't been spoken about yet that Marvel own? Or are we at the scraping the barrel stage already? She-Hulk is another one I see pop up but personally just a girl version of Hulk I'd find to be a bit redundant (don't flame me, never picked up a Marvel comic in my life)
EDIT: I just realized that the (Marvel retained) foundational character most missing from the MCU is Rick Jones. Agent Coulson should have been Agent Jones.
