Hawkeye was super dumb though, complaining about being put to prison AFTER it was known how you would be criminal if you act without agreeing

I really feel bad for his family here... I hope he at least got time to fix the balcon *g*

Or maybe T Challa evacuated them to Wakanda, too.

I just booked the GOTG Vol. 2 OT for next May. We're just about a year away now (almost exactly with late April release dates for Europe).

OK, now they are trying to hard and making stuff stupid.

I don't know about trying too hard, they're giving us a primer on the crux of Civil War's premise by presenting it as a conflicting opinion piece on an in-universe news network.

Might be the easiest thing to do, really.

I havent seen the video yet, but (minor CW spoiler)
having Ross have rumors about going in the politics and im Civil War he already is minister of foreign just doesnt work with the real time aspect of the movies

Its one week before the movie starts, they should do news on stuff that makes sense in that time frame.
The one bit with the student group yesterday was good. More of those and lesser of the stuff I mentioned.

Now they just have to mention Daredevil and everything is fine.
Oh boy, Netflix Marvel could get really irriating if they dont want to acknowledge Post Civil War Status Quo.

Sure there is if they are not casting by the race the characters were in the books.

Yup. And they just cast Sayre, who iirc doesn't even show up until the last half of the book series. So it's inpossible to tell at this point if they're truncating the entire story or if they're just amalgamating a ton of characters and still leaving room for sequels.

This good deed goes unpunished!

Netflix has ordered a full first season of “Marvel’s The Punisher,” continuing their unprecedented collaboration with Marvel Television.

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, introduced to fans earlier this year in the second season of the Netflix original series “Marvel’s Daredevil,” with Steve Lightfoot (“Hannibal”) serving as Executive Producer and Showrunner in addition to writing the series’ first two episodes.

“We want to thank the fans who are clamoring for more of Jon’s stunning and powerful performance as Frank Castle from ‘Marvel’s Daredevil,'” said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, “Now combined with Showrunner Steve Lightfoot’s compelling writing, we’re thrilled to bring 'Marvel’s The Punisher' to Netflix.”

“Jon hooked our global audience with his performance as Frank Castle from the moment he stepped on screen in 'Marvel’s Daredevil,' and we are looking forward to seeing more of him in this role under the vision of Steve Lightfoot,” said Cindy Holland, Netflix Vice President of Original Content.

“For me, the complexity and unpredictability of Frank Castle make him an incredibly compelling character and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into his world,” said Executive Producer and Showrunner, Steve Lightfoot. “After watching Jon’s performance in ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ I could not be more excited to be working with him to further develop and progress the story of this anti-hero in a show of his own.”

“Marvel’s The Punisher” marks the sixth series ordered thus far as part of the groundbreaking collaboration between Marvel Television and Netflix including the upcoming “Marvel’s Luke Cage,” “Marvel’s Iron Fist,” “Marvel’s The Defenders” and the Peabody Award-winning “Marvel’s Jessica Jones.”

“Marvel’s The Punisher” is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

They already acknowledged that AoS is a thing, so maybe
Isn't it the first official acknowledgment of the TV side of the MCU in relation to the movie side of things? If so, a reference to Hell's Kitchen or Harlem may not be far behind (maybe in Doctor Strange, since the Sanctum Sanctorum is in NYC).

I'm doing some rewatches to prepare for Civil War on Thursday and I'm watching Cap 1 at the moment. They really should have raised the pitch of Evan's voice when he was small. His voice sounds way too deep to be that size, lol. I didn't notice it before but it's super distracting right now.

it was kind of a dick move of Fury to take those rare cards out of his locker and smear his own blood all over them

wonder if that was the first thing he told him after bringing him back to life

That's why Fury doesn't show up any more. Coulson would kill him if he even comes near his collectibles.
