I think I'd probably be OK with that. I've almost 6 starred all five of them, I could grind more bios for their gears though I guess.

2.9 Update details are out!
Some crazy stuff here. Quick thoughts:
- Alliance Shop seems weak.
- Finally a 45% physical damage leadership!
- Like the shortening of unlimited special missions to 20 mins. Just hope bios ratio is the same.
- Like that Co-op now has a cap as well. Again, hope the total rewards haven't gone down. Edit: seems decent enough, and that's only stage 5 of 6.
- Dormammu comes from a new quest line thing, which I can dig.
- Good uniform bonuses (and in Elsa's case, probably improved moveset).
- Alliance Challenge and Arena? Hmm...
No new T2s for the AoS characters LOL. There is definitely something going on with Netmarble and the TV show division (probably licensing). No Netflix or AoS uniforms were released last year, AoS characters relegated to the back of the line for T2s, and they straight ignored Robbie Reyes when he was introduced on AoS. March update better fix all of this, especially with Iron Fist being released.

So, is Karnak going to be paywall? He's the only one that they don't list a way to obtain bios for.

Hopefully it's just a typo that they left him out of this part and not a situation where we fight him but the reward is someone else's bios.

That's definitely just a mistake on CMNN's part. The picture always shows the character whose bios you get. The only time it was weird was when there were two characters (like MODOK and Star-Lord together or Gamora and Nebula), but the rule still holds true. And with these two recent sets of missions, it's very clear who you're getting bios for unlike the messy pictures they had for the previous two.

Not sure I like the co-op limitation. Depends on rewards but of course historically when they do this stuff it's usually a nerf to rewards and bonuses so we will see.

You can earn this (more if you have 100+ characters) five times a day.
Unless you actually liked playing with all 100+ characters, this should turn out to be a godsend.

If it's that times five, the gold reward looks about the same so I can live with that.
Hopefully the Clear ticket cost isn't great though as I do tend to play co-op manually now as I'm always running out of tickets these days.

Checking these changes, I hope people already got their level 60 Dr Strange or are willing to get rank up tickets, because memory missions and dark dimensions are reduced from 10 to 3 entries a day.
Curious to see how the coop rewards actually pan out. Not that letting the phone run for an hour was particularly fun anyway.

I need 22million gold for the BAM mission and to get Clea from 3 to 5 stars. I'm checking these Valentines day rewards praying for rank up tickets. That's about all I can do.
Hopefully the Dark Dimension missions still pay out at the same ratio. There's way too much shit to do in this game on a daily basis and there's not enough energy or time to do it. I gave up on dimension rifts that don't have at least 2/5 slots filled, I almost always skip Battleworld and co-op, and I only do World Boss Invasion once or twice a day.
I was gonna continue to auto-grind Hulkling's special missions so I can top off Gwenpool's last two gears (he's the last one I have left), but it looks like I won't bother since Crystal and Karnak are coming. I was looking forward to trying to use her and Kate Bishop to finally finish a speed day in AB for once.

Doing co-op now. So far I've earned 1.5 mil gold (I have the VIP gold slot) and I can still claim 2 more times. I am at stage 5 reward level. It is going to cost a total of 56 clear tickets. Clear ticket cost most likely varies by reward level. First place awards 35%, 2nd place awards 25%, and 3rd place awards 20% towards the bonus meter.
Edit: Final gold total is 2,088,000. This is around how much I earned each day pre-patch. And it only took 10 minutes!

So, how is Dormammu supposed to work? Clear 100 hidden paths to unlock him and from there it's all BAM, Norn Stones and sacrificing bios?
I can't tell how much I earn a day, but 1M everyday is going to put a dent in that.

The GAF alliance seems pretty good to me, in that everyone seems to be doing their part. I don't know how much these rewards will cost, but the alliance store has bios, Norn stones of chaos and BAM.
And yeah, I expect Dormammu to be on par with Thanos and Odin. Not that I really mind: I haven't unlocked Odin yet and I haven't a single level 60 BO character yet (my proxima is 55 though). I blame spending so much time and resources on Strange.
I just tried running coop, this definitely looks like a positive change: the overall outcome seems to be the same if not better, but it takes a lot less time.

Special Missions change is definitely a nerf. I can't get close to the amount of daily bios from them as I used to. :/

From my own experience, you don't have many T2 Speed, so I'd probably go for either Elsa or Squirrel Girl.
Ancient One, to me, does well enough at T1 to not need the ticket so swiftly. Similar with CarRider, he can basically solo the annoying Thunder / Fire Uni floor in a way that others need a T2 to do.
Zombies Elsa still impresses me more than her new Uni. The splash damage on the Start-up of her 5 is good at causing pain and stopping enemies for a bit, and her 4's a lot quicker on that uni, and can be cancelled into 3, 1, 2 for nice, constant movement / attack lockdown. On the new Monsters Uni, I don't feel like her 2 interrupts attacks as solidly, her 3 LOOKs wider spread but the other was already pretty far, her 4, rather than being cancelled while she's in mid air, now has a built in energy macross-missile shot afterwards that takes quite a while to launch (which ruins her flow to me), and her new 5 seems... equal-ish, except it's slower to do what it always did before? At T2, I solidly feel like Elza can solo Relay / Some Rumbles / A few Boss floors without even needing to switch out, as long as her invuln from 5 is maintained. She's not a Strange or ShaRog level, sure, but I find her at T2 and StrangeAO at T1 to be characters I can rely on more often than not.
T2 Squirrel I still wish had more attack power, but her summon does a great job at distracting, and it's one of the most consistently tanky summons in the game to me, plus the semi-invuln she has while jumping on enemies heads always seems useful. The Blender spin she gets from her 3 does a good job at keeping stunned foes hit-locked, and I always feel like this makes her a solid enabler to other, more power-focused characters. I rarely can solo SL with her (might be my builds fault), but she always feels like she makes a very solid contribution.

Ended up with 1.9 million gold today from co-op. Up from about 1.6 yesterday.
Definitely seems lower to me as I was regularly up around the 2.4 a day and the big thing there was it was always about the same.
Current co-op method saves time but the RNG on gold reward now is leaving it open for a lot more bad luck.
Probably not going to miss the difference I guess considering the time save but it was still nice to have the option.

So out of your 20's I have Elsa, Antman, Goliath, Moon Knight, and Hellstorm all T2ed. If I were picking again, I would go with Elsa if you need a Speed or Moon Knight if you need another Combat.

Strong: Inferno, Crystal
Good: Moon Girl, Maximus
Disappointing: Karnak, Gorgon

How do they work? RNG of course! ;D
But yeah, it's random. Sometimes while running the stage you will get a pop up that a hidden route has been found. If that happens, the next area warp will take you there. Clear that room and then finish the stage as normal. If you are auto-running it will still work.
You can get a few hidden tickets by doing certain quests in the Special Mission Quest Packs. Otherwise, you have to buy them (150 crystals for 15) in the shop or wait or NM to gift them.
Cool, thanks. I like Inferno and Crystal the most out of the bunch in terms of powers and movesets so that works out splendidly.

I haven't played much with Elsa yet, and don't have her other uni but was considering the new one. My Elsa is only level 60 / gears at 15, so I've still got a ways to go before T2. Is she useful at T1 to clear SL floors?

So people have been posting info on their Hidden Route rates (without ticket use) and someone on Reddit compiled it. Out of 1826 runs across those who replied, 159 HRs were found. That's an 8.7% find rate, which means it'll take 233 days @ 15 runs per day.
So either you use crystals on him or get him as a character for Halloween.
