This is great to hear, hopefully there will be less attacks after those measures. Also glad to hear I might get my items back! Been trying trade away my Spiderman Serum overpriced but no one was biting >>.
Venom is pretty fun, his alt costume looks great but I prefer the black visuals of his default, hopefully Toxin will be awesome in both aspects. A bit dissapointed in his web attacks which are pretty much direct copies of Spidermans, and most of the powers they changed last minute looked better before the change.

venom is basically inbalanced and will face a nerf soon. i can get some of his skills down from 70 ichor cost to 17 by using a magneto medal and through omega and it makes him completey overpowered.

heres what works for me
cosmic kurse cannot kill me at all
my artifacts arent bis ofcourse for this build im sure but so far this build just wrecks everything and i havent died or ever been close period. the insane cost reduction on deadly maw just makes it so stupid and in close range it hit multiple targets.
my omegas are also there which is just pure dps and strength for more insanity. trust me i dont need more defense than what i have his passive and uniques and lemuria far sustain me

Man I am liking Venom a lot. Really happy that I dig his playstyle since he is one of my fav characters. (Eddie Brock 4 lyfe)

well to be fair, Mac Gargan is the only comix version I've personally read. Right now I'm reading The Initiative timeframe, and he's in the Thunderbolts with Moonstone

I'm so unaccustomed to being msg'd that I often leave people hanging.
You can improve your damage just putting one point in the first (health regen) passive and putting those 20 points (can take one from web swing) in Dark Tendrils which is a very good filler to get ichor insanely fast, making the cost reductions not very important.
That's pretty much the build I've been using.
I disagree he's unbalanced though, not when there are heroes like Rogue/Thor/Ghost Rider. They also never die but do significantly more damage than Venom.

But you can only use the Ultimate thing in level 11 heroes, and the starters you dont own can only be leveled to 10.
So how is that even possible?

also you dont need any fancy build or gear combination to realise Venom wll be nerfed soon, you just need to get to lvl 30 and use his signature for example which is ridiculous

Gurk couldn't get the exploit working earlier, does it work with upgrades bought for 200 splinters at the vendor or do you all have 6 month old ult upgrade tokens you're using.
This bug was reported in the test forums before the starter hero to 10 thing was implemented so they saw it coming but didn't fix it. Or maybe they made all new ult upgrade tokens unusable on them but old ones still do?
Edit: only works with 6 month old anniversary ult upgrades...

If they try anything we can just pull the "I thought it was a feature not a bug!" I mean devs do that to us all the time, right!?
I totally got Cage and Colossus using the exploit as I had some old ult tokens sitting in my stash.

I ended up getting Cap and Rocket with it. I honestly think there are so few of those boxes laying around and because it was the Starter Heroes I don't think anything will happen.

This morning however, people are posting 30s TTK on Venom.
Just go to the trade channel to look for a vib core. Vib core are definitely the least popular.
I really need to finish my omegas. I'm like 5997 or something. With more tabs releasing omegas will become more valuable too, because of having more good nodes to invest in rather than having to start taking just ok ones.
Hard to accurately compare my builds/gearing to ttk records when I am missing a not insignificant amount of them.

Got my Venom to 60 over the weekend. Still can't believe how awesome he is.
I'm a massive fanboy, so I was probably always going to enjoy him, but they'd totally nailed Venom IMO.
Additionally, I was blown away by how durable he is. I hit 60, and immediately threw him into a Cosmic Kurse. Only one piece of level 60 gear, only two of his uniques (and again, like a level 35 and a 47 or something), nothing really optimal - and I managed full bounty Kurse without a death.
Blown all my MM/ICP/Bounty boxes on him, but still missing two of his Uniques (so many damn dupes haha). He's in such a good place though. And while he's not faster than my Psylocke, he's just as fun for doing Cosmics, so I'll probably alternate between the two now for my daily SQ running.
Also like the new March to Axis One Shot. I think those things are great, can't wait until there's a lot more of them. Nice having another opportunity each day to grab some Eyes/Hearts. I'm almost at my first Heart recipe and I should have my third Eye recipe by the weekend!
