My sources tell me it will just be a thirty second clip of James Gunn rolling around in a pile of cash, laughing maniacally.

(voices in your head count as sources, right?)

I just got word that the Guardians post credits scene is Thanos turning Nebula into a zombie.

Rather have the crazy rumor about the post credits being
a Howard the Duck cameo
...would be a cool way to pay homage to the early days of marvel cinema

If the footage shown leaks over the next several hours, please will one of you save the video, re-upload it with a different name, and share the link with just us gaffers using the email trick? Please, I beg you! I must see this footage! MUST!

BTW the youtube asshole that claimed he had the video has nothing, he just re-uploaded the leaked audio on his vimeo channel. :lol What a douchebag.

I just thought you all should know. Robot Chicken just did a special about their created Strawberry Shortcake character.
Bitch Puddin'.
At the end, Bitch Puddin' got picked up by Nick Fury.
Bitch Puddin' is played by Katee Sackoff.

MSMARVELCONFIRMED

I was at the panel since everyone in my group went. I personally haven't liked most of the previous Marvel movies, so I actually didn't even want to go.

However, the trailer was pretty decent, it actually kinda made me want to watch it.

Spader sounds awesome as Ultron. The music is perfect, and when he delivers "I have no strings", fucking goosebumps!

BRING FORTH THIS MOVIE!

I also saw the trailer. It was awesome. Spader is great, and Ultron is terrifying in all the right ways. My favorite part is still when Cap budged the Mjolnir though.

And you didn't film it for us?

FOR SHAME.

But on a serious note, is there a shot of quicksilver in the teaser and how does he look in motion? I can't recall if he was mentioned in the write up.

Actually, I saw someone from gaf like two rows ahead with what looked like a Macbook Air, but I didn't say hi or anything. :p

What about Ant Man tho?
It was all 3D animation, I assume.

There was some sense of urgency because he was about to be caught or something, but I'm not sure how. Also, the area that he was in was on fire. He attempted to communicate with an ant, but after being unsuccessful he decides to jump off a cliff, which seems crazy until the ant comes to the rescue and takes him through some AC vent.

Not really interesting.

My only problem with the audio is, hat Ultron doesnt sound artificial enough. But I would be suprised when they dont change this in the final movie anyway.

Sony have acknolwedged ASM2 underperformed and disappointed, pushing ASM3 back accordingly.

Marvel is still having a good creative, critical and commerically successful run.

Spidey cameo-ing in the Marvel universe = C'MON! Sony at this point have more to gain by allowing this to move forward but it would be an equal boon for Marvel. It may even help Sony drive their Sinister Six effort.

I think marvel should just steer clear at this point. To include Sony's Spider-Man now, would be to acknowledge that there might be that electro, rhino and lizard out there somewhere.

Sony made their bed, so let them lay in it. Marvel doesn't need to do them any favors. There is more than enough characters available for Marvel to mine, to not waste time on one they have no control over.

Marvel wants Spider-Man back, they don't just want a one night stand. If the ASM films are struggling, appearance in an Avengers flick is only going to promote them, directly leading to Spidey getting further and further away from Marvel's grasp.

Marvel clearly doesn't need Spider-Man. Of course it would be nice, but they'd also be carrying all the baggage of franchise(s) with it. Which is already a problem because good comic book movies help the genre and bad ones hurt the genre at large. Most people still can't tell DC from Marvel, they sure as hell can't tell the difference between Fox and Marvel Studios, except that some don't cross over for [reason they ask you about].

ASM2 was one of the worst comic book movies ever, but they're getting closer and closer to nailing Spider-Man. Put some great direction and writing behind it and they can have a hit again. The problem is the direction is absolutely terrible and they're a bit in too deep.

Problem with Spider-Man is, of all heroes, he'd run to help out Stark if he was in trouble... or Cap... no questions asked. So it'd actually hurt his character to not get involved in their stories.

Yeah, I think it's time for Sony to willingly cross pollinate. Spider-Man's popularity is waning compared to the Avengers cast. And I think Garfield would fit right in.

Maybe Disney should look into buying back the rights.

Lol maybe have a post-credits scene with Spidey trying to buy a flight to Wakanda and using all his pocket change only to find he hasn't got enough.

I think at this point, it's too complicated to involve Spider-Man in an established universe. They'd have to explain Spidey's absense from the Battle Of New York (although you could argue he was elsewhere fighting aliens, we just didn't see it), the existence of Rhino, Goblin, Lizard etc etc on SHIELD's watch, the relationship between Spider-Man and SHIELD.... I think it would pull the pacing down. The great thing about this established universe is that it's gained momentum and everything and everyone that gets added, gets added in that same momentum, I just don't see that happening with Spidey.

Guess what guys, Captain America is bigger than SpiderMan now. Marvel doesn't give a shit.

If Sony wants to sell, then Marvel will do a proper reboot. Garfield ain't getting anywhere near the Avengers. It would be a downgrade.

I really like the ASM films, so there's that...

But even if you think they are bad, I think that Spidey in Marvel wouldn't be good for superhero films. I highly doubt that we would be getting Guardians of the Galaxy if Marvel could make Spider-Man films. Marvel are looking at branching out in new and cool ways with characters which nobody thought would ever get a blockbuster film.

Also, we still get Spidey films! I really like these ASM films, so it's easy for me to say - but this seems to work out pretty well. The same applies to X-Men, which is a pretty big cast that would bog down quite a bit of the Marvel film universe. (The exception here probably being Fantastic 4).

Anyway... if you cling to the hope of Spidey in the Avengers on the big screen. Surely the best time would be to wait a little. Let Sinister Six fail and Sony give up, then we get Spider-Man joining in a future phase, in which at least a couple of the big hitters have probably died/retired. You get Spider-Man as a key figure in a future phase, and also I imagine a great story about Spidey trying and failing to join at first, knowing his bad luck and bad press.

(I'll let you hope, but Sony won't give up).

But by then I'll be a billion years old

If Spidey were to be in the MCU, it would have to take place post Avengers and post Captain America 2, otherwise Peter would be on SHIELD's watch list.
