I dunno, it always feels like something always is killing mutants. It's like oh, ANOTHER virus/power/McGuffin is wiping out your race? It's like those choose your adventure books or visual novels where there is 20 bad ends to 1 good end and the only reason you continue on is because you cheat your way through it with all the odds against you (Mutants pretty much have shitty endings in most alternate futures).
Thinking about it, even though it doesn't have much of a chance happening unless it was an alternate reality or a one-shot, having a Y the Last Man scenario would be interesting. Yorick in this case will be Goldballs. The monkey is Doop.

That guy made some valid points.
They just handwaved the fact he was a pariah and elevated him to jesus status in two seconds flat. It was bonkers. Logan became some sort of bible salesman as well until he lost his healing ability.
