It's probably the most jarring playing a new version of Wolverine after he's been the same in basically every Capcom Marvel fighter since time began.

Are you sure? I could swear I heard one of the guys asking how many, and the guy with the controller answered "3."

I'm sure of that because I remember the ungrateful bastard replied with "shit, this fucking sucks" while I fought the urge to punch the screen.

Haha, I guess I'm just speaking in broad terms. Everyone feels different to me, between looking different and the new control scheme. It's just funny with him because he's been in practically every game. He felt like such a constant for all the games since CotA. Now the voice, look and feel are all different.

Gah-lak-tus took three times given my nubile fighting prowess, and I earned 2488 PP.
 
I just noticed, the Hyper Background is a piece of paper. Watch how it tears apart when the hyper ends. Except for hypers using energy blasts or fire. They burn it. That's a nice little detail. Keeping with the comic book theme, appropriately enough.
 
I only see three Reserve Unit slots.

They let you set characters, type (a/b/g) and color.

I must be retarded; I don't see where to spend PP.

Oh, it didn't even tell me Akuma was unlocked, but boom, he's on the screen now. Guess you can't choose who you wanted first. I was gunning for Sentinel first.

Nah it goes by how much PP you earned. Back out to the main menu to see what you unlocked.

The Unlock notification pops up when you go back to the main menu, but if you just keep playing while already having accumulated the necessary points for the unlock, the character is there, ready to be picked.


I need to step away. Ugh.

Everyone has it except Doom, Hulk, She Hulk, Arthur, Morrigan and to some extent Dorm.

The Sent combo really easy to do. You can get away with normal dashing to land the light rocketpunch after the air combo. The problem is trying to land the first hit.

As for Thor's reset, your opponent can air recover forward to escape it; it's a guessing game since you'll grab them if they recover normally/back, but if they recover forward you'll whiff or you might get his lightning projectile (name escapes me) to come out.

They can also recover and mash an attack.
 
question for Capcom shop buyers:

this is weird. the t-shirt was in my order before it was shipped. but after order is completed, i only see the game in the account. anyone else got a similar screen?

I was wavedashing in XvS before it was called wavedashing.
