Good luck with that cancellation.

Kintaro said:Only thing we know for sure is that according to the SE, the first set of characters come out on March 15th. So, unless Capcom says something sooner, that's it. If Capcom screws SE buyers, that would be quite stupid. Opinions on the game are already quite varied. Capcom shooting themselves in the foot would just be fitting for them.

...I voted for Green Goblin, Carnage, Doc Oc, Sandman and Psylocke. Yeah, I really like Spiderman and he needs some more villains in this.
Teknopathetic said:"If someone else could make Marvel vs Capcom 3, I totally would."
I would assume he's talking about the shittastic Capcom Store.
Door2Dawn said:Fuck I'm shit at this game. Has anyone else found moving your character around difficult? Like dashing back and forward?
TheFightingFish said:I'm sure he was talking about the store as well. But since he brought it up, I would pay some big bucks for Capcom to develop Marvel vs. Capcom 3 basic gameplay and single player and then turn it over to a company that actually knows what they are doing for online infrastructure and features. I can imagine Valve creating a fantastic lobby system with tons of tweakable options for player matches (+DLC hats!), the Bungie guys for sure would have ace website integration where you could see and browse all your stats online and a buff replay saving / viewing / spectating mode and Arc System Works already know how to nail fighting game netcode. Just in my dreams I guess...
Hilaho said:Good luck with that cancellation.
If worst comes to worst I can just sell the game at a premium price for anyone who wants it. I'd still be pissed though.Teknopathetic said:"Good luck with that cancellation."
Yup. I cancelled my SF4 order a good 4 days before it actually shipped, called in and confirmed the cancellation...still shipped.
Stop doing business with that horrible place.
Capcom Unity surprised us this morning with pictures of some upcoming DLC costume pictures. Included are SF1 Ryu, STARS Chris, Sparda/Virgil Dante, Heroic Age Captain America, Classic Thor, and Iron Patriot Iron Man. They also included an official upload of Episode 4 of the intro movie (which you've seen already), and a full roster trailer. This stuff looks really hot. The first alternative costume DLC will be available on March 1st ($5 on PSN, 400MS points on Xbox Live). Still no pricing announced for Shuma and Jill.
Papercuts said:That's dumb as HELL. They messed up the guy who was behind me too, but atleast he had the receipt with him. I went all the way back home to get mine, go back up, and they gave away my copy anyway. Great use of my time.

Yes, I realize that it's 1AM PST, but we've got some exciting new Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 media to share with you! First is the much-anticipated episode FOUR trailer that you'll find above! Be sure to watch all of it! Next, we got the full roster trailer after the jump, followed by your FIRST LOOK at new alternative costume DLC that will be available on March 1st ($5 on PSN, 400MS points on Xbox Live). Of course, March 1st also marks the day that the first Shadow Mode DLC pack will be available as well. Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath will be made available as DLC at a later date (for those that didn't purchase the special edition of the game).

I know I saw it somewhere in our thread, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone link me to the default pad/stick button config? Thanks in advance. Also, if anyone is interested I can upload some pix of the pad tonight.
PS. Pad packaging is also quality, overall really happy with it thus far

Talk about unclear. Is Shadow DLC separate from the costumer pack? Is it included? What about Jill and Shuma? Make sense dammit!

First off, on Sunday I went to a Gamestop store in the boondocks hunting for a Special Edition . I ended up snagging a PS3 Special edition from gamestop 1 day before release date on some off the wall crazy off chance shit. Very nice guy working there said he had one randomly that was not preordered.Bisonian said:I went in at lunch to pick mine up and they gave me a regular when I preordered a CE. If they had taken half as much time checking my preorder as they did pushing their Free Power Up card, and their Paid Power Up Card, and the strategy guide, and a preorder on Mortal Kombat, and a used version of Super SF4, I probably wouldn't have had to make a second trip back to the store.
My fault for not checking in the bag I guess.

No idea, I'm finding it a lot smoother than SSF4's online (I'm playing on PS3).MThanded said:Whats the deal with people saying the netcode sucks. Game ran amazingly for me last night.
mannerbot said:You unlock chars by doing basically anything in the game. And seeing as Akuma's the first char to unlock iirc, you can just idle in training mode for 15 minutes and unlock him probably.

I had an update on my package that stated "2:00 PM," the actual website didn't reflect that until about 9:00 PM. And I, too, am anxiously awaiting the arrival of this today.bumpkin said:word. Though my order is listed as having been shipped, the tracking information isn't particularly reassuring; simply says "in transit" from a few states away as of yesterday at 5:13pm. There's no activity listed for today as of yet... I'm going to be really bummed if it doesn't come soon.![]()
That sucks, I got a lil' paranoid after reading some people didn't get their psp's from these guys. I saw my order still on hold last night and this morning with no confirmation message or anything so I just went to Futureshop this morning just before it opened and picked up the game. Call around and see if they still have copies. I know on RFD people were saying a few stores had plenty.enzo_gt said:Just called Archambault. that would be cool and all but online there is no connection bar so you have no idea what lag sim level to use.DarkoMaledictus said:One impressive feature I was wishing for for a while... network simulation! Finally you can practice as if there was some line while offline! Genius!
