Is this stream for ssf4 or AE or something? I am just confused because without a spectator mode there is nothing to stream except 2 mvc3 fight cards pushing against each other.
 
What's gonna get here first? My Guide from Amazon or my SE from the Capcom store? Damn you Capcom Store.

Wow from all the comments on the board it really seemed like the wrong thing to do was ordering it. If it was a rare game from atlus, with limited prints, I can understand the need to order it, or if you are extremely limited in time, but if thats not the case a walk to the store is a sure bet.

Video Game Broadcasting Guide

You don't need a Spec Mode to stream your games live on the internet. You just need the equipment and then you can stream everything. Games, Movies, Music etc.

But the stream was for a tournament correct? Is it not an online tournament?

I understand how to stream -_- i just thought this stream was for an online tournament. Without spectator mode you can only see one person play, the person where you are streaming from.

Edit: oh ok my question was answered above.

Hoping it comes out in a month or so. Otherwise, yah. No stream. Just random PSN SSFIV lobbies and just chat chilling.

I guess it was too good to be true. As I've stated numerous times on GAF/out of GAF, if I did not have the luxury of playing it at school, I would have went crazy.

Since it did not come today, I'm 90% sure it will be here tomorrow. If not, well, I have a long weekend ahead of me.
 
I'm at work and not near my game so I was wondering if someone could try this out for me. With Captain America, can you do his Hyper Charging Star, cancel into XFC, and then go straight into his level 3 Final Justice?

Yes, she was. Although her role in DMC4 was very minuscule, her character model was at least hotter than the ever-so-bland Trish.

I am so not feeling this game right now. Maybe I need more time with it. I just don't like the more simplified controls, lack of charge characters, etc.

You and me both. I thought it was the most epic shit ever watching that Yipes/Sanford in the lab final match when they would start something then the other would activate their trap card tag in their teammate to stop that noise only for the next guy to pop out of harms way with a hyper and this exchange went one for something like 3 goes each.
 
I've got a 600,000 damage bnb with Hagger and a 750,000 damage combo with she-hulk that uses one bar down. Just need to work out who will be my third character and if I can hit any of it outside of the lab.

Also, boo-hoo Seth, I hate it when developers lie about characters being buffed before release when they're actually nerfed to hell. Then again I suppose officially released disinformation is somehow not as bad as accurate leaked info?

It's on Nico Live, which requires an account. And because of how Nico works, they have to create a new room every 30 minutes (currently on their 25th one).

They'll need to rehype SSF4 a few months down the track so that people will buy their DLC characters, and releasing info/videos on Oni/Evil Ryu while also unlocking them officially in arcades would've helped them do that. It's not really as exciting anymore now that everyone has seen them.

edit: I'm considering picking Morrigan back up after seeing ClakeyD. I started using her because of the meter assist but couldn't figure out what to do with her out.

No kidding. I'd say the entire Lupinko list and SSFIV roster easily outclassed Oni and Evil Ryu in terms of leaks they'd define as heart breaking...now if the AE rom somehow leaked to PC that would be different.

While the leaks dulled my interest somewhat I think releasing AE well after MvC3 is much more of a factor. Then again, just getting Evil Ryu is enough of a turn off compared to speculation about Rolento being in it.

A thousand times this. I have no interest in AE whatsoever... it's a victim of poor timing and outside of Yun and Yang it seems completely inconsequential. Never been a fan of Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma looks just as lame. Like you, I was expecting Rolento. You know, since he's been "almost in" at every stage of the game's development.

I'm all over this game, however, as soon as I get my PS3 repaired...
 
The only thing left for me to do at this point is get in the lab and see how much I can pick up from scratch. I'm looking at all of these matches on the stream video and it just gets me so excited to try different things out. I just hope that I "get" the motions for a lot of this stuff right as my little stint with this game yesterday made me feel terrible that I couldn't get SRK motions down pat. :lol
 
Hmm, seems like Shoryuken practice paid off for me. Almost two hours of nothing but Shoryuken variants in Training, but I got it. At least when there's no pressure, in combat it's still a little shaky. That can can only be dealt with by fighting more. I think the most important thing for me to learn next is to pull of the Magic Series. I fumble that launch so often.

Also, I've begun to like a third character that I frankly didn't care about before I got the game: Tron Bonne. What the heck is she doing, and where did the opponent's life go? She's so awesomely weird, even for MvC3. I think tomorrow's plan for MvC3 will be to get a few basic combos to work with Felicia, Zero, and Tron, then take that rather unlikely team online and get blasted by infinite Sentinels. I wonder how these three will work together. Felicia and Zero are pretty good together, at least as far as I can tell, and I get the feeling that Tron's drill assist just might be the pressure tool I need. Or her flametrower.

Heh, if I pick Felicia's and Tron's second costumes, I've even got a theme going. Red, white, and blond hair. Sure, fighting well is important, but if it's possible to look like a team, then... why not?
 
What's the consensus on the hardest mission so far?

Had some real trouble with Iron Man's, but that's probably because that was the first one I completed. I've already done Wolvie, Zero, Sentinel and Doom's and none of them felt as hard as Iron Man's to me...

Amaterasu's set. I can't get the weapon switching combos at all, I'm stuck at 5 with her.

I'm in a similar frame of mind (minus Rolento... I didn't play Alpha), but even with all of the face palms there was a huge amount of hype in the SF4 thread here. They aren't going to achieve that sort of excitement again, whether you believe it's warranted or not. It shouldn't be too difficult to grasp why they would be disappointed.

McNum: Check out the Evil Rahsaan FrameAdvantage video on youtube, he uses the flame assist with Tron to cover Zero fake/real dash through mixup. I had a lot of success with it yesterday. I'm sure it'll be harder to react to online.
 
By the way, how's the PSN online quality in Europe for this game? I read that there's a Europe region now, which is awesome. SSFIV sorted by country, but you don't find many matches when you live in a country with less population than most big cities, so that was kind of useless.
