Just sat an hour in training mode waiting for opponents that would not pop up. The two matches I had before that I had one ragequit vs a Wolverine/Wesker/Phoenix team and in the other all was smooth sailing until a huge lagspike set in while I was finishing off his last character. From that moment on the game remained laggy and an X-Factor level 3 Wesker + lag is not very fun.
Really hope everything about the online modes changes for the better in Ultimate.

I would trade it off, but I'm wondering whether or not I'll regret it down the road since I want to get a PVR. I'm thinking of trading the Xbox version and borrowing my cousin's copy every once in a while if he doesn't play it too often...
I'd say that people outside of GAF are hyped. If something like DOTA is distracting people I hate to imagine what Uncharted, Gears, Halo and CoD will do in the coming months. :SDahbomb said:

double edit: everything is back to normal which is weird cause if it was a hot fix i wouldve thought it would be for the peekaboo glitch, but it is still present.

Just got a digital camera for my photoshop class, hopefully now I'll be able to back up some of my insane ramblings

so if you know smurf you should know that his natural habitat is the corner zoning the shit out of you and if you come any closer call haggar and push you out of the corner.
this strategy is godlike cause you no longer need to worry of left/right mixups only high/low and thats when haggar comes out.

just lost to solarpowered 10-8. its just not my day. lol i will continue to lose too till i figure out how to completely counter ammy. that is the only character i don't have a real strategy against. the only strategy i have is throwing her. i basically threw up a bunch of shit against the wall hoping to see if it stuck but didn't have much luck. i really don't have a strategy against the sword mode.

Thanks for the vids, Karsticles. It is nice to see someone rocking the house with such an unconventional team. His Haggar and Arthur are especially sick haha.
I do think his Hsien-Ko could be better though. I don't see the reasoning behind some of his choices.

I was lucky that the connection was so good. It made it much easier for me to complete my combos with Ammy. I have to admit that I'm afraid of what lengths you'll go to in order to beat me next time...smurfx said:

It's really entertaining, but it is what it says. Marvel 1.0. You'll get a basic idea of how Clock plays and why he chose characters, etc, but it's not as in depth as the Viscant DVD even if it's just as long, and Clock by his own admission doesn't use training mode and doesn't really know about frame data, and I found a lot of his Doom stuff to be incorrect.
That said, it was filmed before he started using Doom on point, so it's also outdated, and that means a lot more for the way Clock plays than for the way Viscant plays.

I remember downloading a preview of their Marvel tutorial before the Viscant one came out which had Marn as the featured player. I wonder if they are even going to release the Marn one aswell since it's probably just as outdated as the Clockw0rk one.

It almost feels like Capcom went out of their way to make Morrigan bad. I remember trying to beat Sougenoumu on reaction with Okami shuffle in the hopes that I could shut Zero down before you get Taskmaster out there and he ACTUALLY blocked the shuffle. I decided to check Morrigan's Astral hyper and Sougenoumu only to find that Morrigan has 13 recovery frames and Sougenoumu has 3. Having to depend on finishing shower to get things done also sucks because of the few options and the shit damage on the hyper. I think my team would be crippled if I were not able to DHC into something like Okami shufle for better damage. Getting touched by Taskmaster is practically a death sentence with Ammy and looking at his arrows in comparison to finishing shower kinda pisses me off. So many things about Morrigan just scream " we almost got it, but we've got a lunch break now).
When I think about the arrows I finally move on to the subject of Hsien-Ko. Damn, Taskmaster has an answer for everything when Haggar is sitting in the wing. I've recently started to incorporate Senpu Bu approaches into my arsenal, but Tasky's parabolic arrows shut that down too. Shield skills also beats the shit of her j.H approach.
I really got lucky last night and I was actually more disturbed by my winning streaks than the asskickings you gave me last night.
Notes:
-Hsien-Ko desperately needs new and improved movement options. I've gotten to the point where I can deal with the crap damage and I just want better movement.
-Ammy's glaive is super awesome!
-Morrigan is a freaking tournament sleeper that would do some amazing stuff with damage tweaks, a ground dash and hyper buffs(cut recovery window on Astral and give her back her beam for top tier).
-Taskmaster is such a scary character, but it feels rewarding to put him in his place. Freaking pink death is the name I've got for him now lol.
-LOL I AIN'T GOING NEAR HAGGAR. RESPECK DA PIPE!

I learned from the Marn video that crouching B is good and that I should teleport down from the air to catch people with it. Of course I never use that trick anymore because I'm always using the A button for chargin mah lazor.
I don't think that was a tutorial more like him reviewing his matches (about Marn).
They should do one on Combofiend just because we got enough out of Phoenix teams from Viscant 1.0 Marvel video. Combofiend is already part of that whole sponsorship and comes on CC quite a bit so it wouldn't be a surprise at all.

Game isn't really anymore unbalanced than any other fighter out there. It has it's definite tiers and such but as far as playability in the casual environment goes every character is insanely viable.Sayah said:
As far as your question goes, that isn't a combo that's a RESET. You counter that grab reset by teching (forward + H same as you would throw). And I am assuming this is an air throw. There is a version on the ground Wesker can do that is a command throw and you have to jump out of that one if he gets you in a set up.

I've recently made my friend use Viscant's team every time he asks for character requests. He never uses assists and it is my secret way of trying to change his mind.
