Looks like Marvel's newest tactic is to pin the blame for the lack of X-Men on devs.
I guess this explains the whole "Functions" thing from Combofiend & why the excuse was so shitty (even though we already suspected that it was a poor attempt to cover for Marvel).

They do fix shit, yeah, but at a slow pace. I'm honestly surprised we got the face fixes as quickly as we did.

My comment was mostly in regards to classic remixes, not entirely new themes.
This is stupid especially coming off the heels of The Gifted premiering and being awesome. I haven't seen a good thing about the Inhumans yet.

Day one had to be my boy firebrand. Helped me get second at a local tourney on sat!
Day 2 I went with strider. Training homie uses strider/gam/soul and got 3rd!

Its funny considering there arent any Inhumans in MvC lol. Its like Marvel has completely abandoned the whole idea of pimping out the Inhumans as a replacement for the X-Men.

Meh, it's specifically an MvC thing - it was always gonna have a limited roster and movie/existing MvC3 characters took priority. Marvel Future Fight had a HUGE Inhumans push not long ago, well before they added X-Men this year.
If they want to sell people on Inhumans, they should add Ms. Marvel and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
I can see a mix of Necalli and Thanos with some fireballs and maybe a punch rush.

Since you mention it, I never found fights in Dragon Ball particularly cool or exciting, and the characters' fighting styles were definitely a big part of that.

That cover is sick. I almost want a copy for the cover alone. Hopefully they release a textless version. The vid itself comes off as kinda cheesy, especially since it sounds nothing like Hebert's actual narration.

I waaaaaas going to wait for an "ultimate" MvC:I or at least until all the season pass characters were out to see if there would be a cheap bundle or sale or something on PC but cdkeys has the game for £15.99 (EU code) which I couldn't say no to. I mean, I was afraid it might go back up in price or something.
Still not sure how I feel about the lack of X-Men or how so much of the roster is just returning from MvC3 yet they've cut a bunch I liked and how some of the faces look bad BUT my friend has been bugging me about getting the gameeeeeeeeee and the actual fighting stuff looks great plus I was assured Dante was still fun to use.
EDIT: Just checked Steam JESUS! 55GB? The fuck!?
EDIT3: and yeah, the cdkeys code is a EU code only.

I got a EU key as a bday gift. Not from cdkeys I believe but it redeemed completely fine.
Hey man fair enough. I'm super on the asura train, even if it's just punches and energy attacks, they made them rather outlandish and just a giant spectacle that I think could translate to mvci perfectly.
Iirc it's the movie files. Anyone know if I can just delete the files after I beat the story? Would that mess up my game?

A bit of looking online has someone asking if it would be ok to delete the movie files but no response yet. Marvel Games didn't push the stupid ass ban on people. Marvel Entertainment did. This is clear based on how hype Bill Rosemann was when X-Men were included in Future Fight.
Yeah, they're all under Marvel, but it's obvious that a lot of them are against the ban. It's out of their hands.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking this up on Steam. Is this a good port/version? And how is the playerbase and netcode etc? Would it make more sense picking it up on the PS4 Pro instead? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance!
Pick it up on PS4. Not a big enough playerbase on PC.
I'd say run marvel/jedah
If you have a local offline scene or enough friends who also have it on pc, it's not too bad, connections are great, load times are Hella quick etc.
If you plan to play a majority online (ranked or matchmaking) Def go to ps4, it's also the tournament standard so that's always incentive.

Still baffled that so many people were saying that the PC ver was going to be the best version to get, pre release, and that the playerbase would be fine.
Unless you value mods over actually playing against people, the PC ver is never the one to get when you buy a fighting game.
