McNerdBurger said:That's brutal... Can anyone who experienced this please let me know if they were playing off the disc, or the hard drive? I just played that mission at home off the xbox hard drive and didn't experience and cutouts. Apologies to anyone who did... we're looking into it.

So are there still anomalies/sidequests on planets that make them worth scanning (as in the game doesn't direct you to said planet, you just find it on your own) and then landing on? Or is the scanning mechanic chiefly for Ore now?

Best end credit music ever. Got goosebumps the first time I heard it.Lyphen said:I really wish the Faunts would have come back for the credits music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcrDWAuyqtc
Miss that.

Really?!
brandonh83 said:Is it just my sound setup or are the gunshots extremely loud? There's a lot of great atmospheric effects that sound excellent on surround, but I live in an apartment right now and the gunshots are disturbingly loud. I've tried lowering the sound effects but all that seems to do is lower the sounds during cutscenes.
Meus Renaissance said:Adepts are under appreciated. Now I remember just why I love using this class, especially with Advanced Training, you pretty much have a free choice of any ability any of your team members have. I've been able to do Advanced Training twice now and was given the choice to also pick up either an AR/Shotgun/Sniper. Add that to upgrading my chosen weapon, wow. I'm a walking biotic Universal soldier

Sh1ner said:Game is awesome and is taking too much of my time, quick question:
I have gained one of the characters loyalty, then lost it. Said character wont speak to me, any way to gain back that loyalty?
I fail at not knowing the spoiler tags, so I've kept it vague as possible.
BTW if your on a PC and having speech cut off issues, its because your overclocking. I had the same problem and fixed it by knocking off the overclock settings in BOIS.
Not all motherboards (mines MSI), have this issue and I think it only happens when coupled with a Creative X-FI card.
We're living in different universes, I think.Cep said:Really.
firehawk12 said:Yeah, I noticed the mix was off. I had to turn down the sound during the combat and then turn it back up after.
Meus Renaissance said:If you start a second playthrough with the same character, will you start with the weapons/abilities you unlocked?

DennisK4 said:I agree. ME felt more epic than ME2 in no small part because of what you mention - the larger, more open missions.
Castor Krieg said:On the contrary, I enjoy smaller, more packed missions. They provide more diverse environments, as well as make sure the action is there all the time. If you remove Mako sections the levels were small, they were artificially stretched by driving around. I hope they keep this mission format for ME3.

Cep said:Agreed.
Level design in ME1 was abysmal.
ME2's environments look like they were used for a purpose OTHER than shooting fools. All they have to do is amp up the exploration a bit and add more loot.

firehawk12 said:It feels like a baby version of Gears 2, where there's random junk floating around that happens to be tall enough to take cover behind while also being low enough so that you can shoot over the crates/random walls/whatever.
Cep said:Yeah, I found this hilarious.
My favorite was the level where cover actually rose out of the ground.
But even with this, still better than the first.
Red Blaster said:I recall that part. With Shepard's inability to vault over anything without taking cover first, hilarity ensued.
Snuggler said:Good question, it happened to me at the same part and I thought it might have been a glitch. I couldn't hear what I thought was the most important part of the scene.
BenjaminBirdie said:Same again. I reloaded a save and turned the subtitles on. I couldn't believe that THAT was where the sound cut out.
In more alarming news, I need 450,332 credits to get the rest of my upgrades around the galaxy!!! I have Mordin, Grunt, Thane, Zaeed, and Garrus' loyalty missions along with pretty much every N7 quest save the first one. Plus the Normandy crash site. I've heard it's best to save Tali andloyalty quests until after you recruit the latter. Is there any way on Earth I'll be able to score that much scratch before I go IFFin'? I figure about 50k per Loyalty mission but that only gets me to 350k.Legion's
EEEEK!!!
Extend most of them by 6 or 7 times, and those could be a second type of mission structure for ME3

Patryn said:The New Game+ in this game works pretty much like the old one. If you start a second game with a new character, you get to select any of the Advanced Training abilities you unlocked right off the bat. I'm on my second playthrough right now as a Sentinel (went Engineer first time) and I took Armor-Piercing Ammo (I didn't realize that Warp affected armor and I thought I'd need something to compensate for my lack of incinerate).
You also start with 50000 of every mineral and an extra 200000 credits. This is in addition to any bonuses you got from importing a rich/high level ME1 character.
