Started using the Javelin... I like sniping again! It reminds me of my Widow sniping days. Very fun and I needed to use up some sniper rails. I've almost run out of shotgun and assault rifle amps. I might be able to crack 10m before the DLC hits.
A while back I was convinced that the Reegar had a much higher skill cap than most weapons. Spray-and-pray works, but well timed pulsing kills even faster. Also, Battlemaster was my slowest solo character because I always played him the same way I would off-host. Now I know better.
This Krogan clears Glacier solo in 16:59.

If the new multiplayer dlc is indeed the Collectors, I would bet it releases alongside the next sp dlc (since they may involved in the Omega dlc). Just speculating though.
First legit Platinum extract with a good group of guys. We were all Demolishers.
I feel like some kind of festivities should be held.
[EDIT] - Oh, and I got my Combatives 'n Shock Trooper Upgrades up to III. Including the Barrage Upgrade, that leaves eight more Rare Gear unlocks left...

They'll probably list the Argus along with the balance changes today. Was never really impressed with it in single player though, just seemed like a lesser Vindicator... Maybe they'll eventually buff it's damage or something to justify it's greater weight, and inferior range, accuracy, and firing rate.

- Headshot damage multiplier increased from 2.5 to 3
- Magazine size increased from 20 to 25
- Max spare ammo increased from [260-340] to [275-350]

- Damage increased from [265.6-332.0] to [292.1-365.2]
Incisor Sniper Rifle

You won't need to spend 2 million on it most likely, but save it anyway.
I got it in 6 PSPs because all I need is my URs and it's actually pretty good. Just played 3 gold games with a Destroyer and an Argus X and ended up getting 150k and getting more than half my teams points each game.
It shoots pretty slow but with the RoF on Devastator mode it's bearable.

So apparently the PS3 servers can't handle the addition of a new gun because I've spent 20 minutes waiting for random people to join my bronze game, got bored and searched for other people's public games, one of which I immediately lost the connection to and the other where half of the people were completely invisible to me and didn't even show up on the score board even though I was seeing enemies die left and right before also losing my connection to that one.

Finally got a typhoon... meh. Harrier is better and I have it at V.

I stopped using the Piranha a while ago. The Carnifex change doesn't surprise me. I also stopped using that in favor of the Talon.
Bought regular and premium Spectre packs until my Argus got to X. No Typhoon upgrades. Argus is basically the same as it was in single player. Seems like a Vindicator/Harrier with a lot more ammo. Nice for a rare weapon I guess.

Piranha with a Turian Soldier and Marksman and spec for Rate of Fire and Stability. So epic.
it does like 20 extra points of damage at rank 1 as opposed to the sp version.
don't know if this guy's math was right, but apparently it's damage increases 14 points each rank.

Incisor is so fucking shit. I have no idea how to use it effectively. Shit damage, awful kickback.

It wasn't bad, but I quickly figured using a shotgun with her wasn't the best strategy. Statis + Carnifex seems like a good thing, and Charge + Heavy Melee when things get hairy.

I'll keep that in mind, if I ever try her. For now, I'll stick with my trusted Kroguard. =)
Carnifex X is the pistol of choice. Best all around weapon that you can reasonably get to. Unless you have invested enough to get your ultra rare game up and scoop a high level Talon or have a class that is specifically built around a weapon like an Acolyte or Paladin, there isn't a reason to use anything else.

Regarding pistols, the acolyte is one amazing piece to carry into battle. We did a gold run, no rockets only acolytes & powers with infiltrators and finished in 12-13 minutes. Totally awesome weapon.
The Phalanx is probably one of the best uncommon guns in the game.

Well, I've played Gold very rarily, so there's no guarantee of success, but I guess I'm willing to try. Which race would you prefer? Asari is out of the question, as my Adept class is currently at level 1, and I don't have much experience on using Quarian, Salarian or Vorcha. EDIT: Nor Drell.

I'm also on PS3 and I'm almost always on bronze since I think I'm terrible at this game. I'll also send you a friend request next time I'm on.
Phalanx has been gathering dust in favor of the Arc Pistol for me. Faster rate of fire and ~2x the damage.
doesn't really matter to me. I've solo'd Gold with almost every character. Geth would be easiest but if you feel more comfortable with Turian/Krogan I'll use them as well.

Unlocked the Fury! Gave it a quick whirl before heading off (and after telling Tsukumo I was heading out, sorry about that, but I bought my pack after I left the lobby :lol). It's cool, but I'm not really sure yet what weapons to use with it, nor am I really sure how Annihilation Field works.

With AF get close to enemies and when the field jumps onto the you can hit them with your power, I forget if it is warp or throw, and it causes a biotic explosion. I love the Fury so much, such a fun class. I used a Pirana with it for a while but since they nerfed it I have been going with pistols so I have the 200% reload speed.

ím down, i will add you when im back home this friday. i can play any race, but Krogan sounds fun. my Kroguard with Reegar X is basically invincible on Silver so a win is almost guaranteed, unless im half asleep or something lol.
