Nah, she just lives by an extremely strict code. Zero to very little wiggle room. Granted she was crazy enough to sign up for it but it was that, or monastery life.

Living by a 'code' that has zero wiggle room is exactly what makes her a lunatic.

The people you recruit aren't working for Cerberus, they're working for you.

Also Cerberus doesn't exactly hate aliens, they just want humanity to be the top dog.

5+ years, 5 total playthroughs, over 160 hours total and 3 final choices. Mass Effect is now my favorite gaming series of all time.

I don't know why you guys want to have the happiest of endings. But I loved it the finale and I loved the decisions you had to make. I chose destroy the Reapers, was it Shepard waking up at the very last scene? Did he imagine everything after he walks into the beacon?

Masterful stuff Bioware. BEST. SERIES. EVER.

Going to watch the other endings now.

I quite liked Martin Sheen's voice acting in that final Illusive Man confrontation. Dude brought it.

In some behind the scenes video you can see him talking about reapers and the lore and whatnot. You can tell that he really took the role seriously and wasn't just some celebrity they stuck in a recording booth who said "lol videogaems".

Oh god. Reading this post is like seeing a slow motion car crash...I want to look away from the impending destruction but can't.

We DON'T want a happy ending. We want an ending that makes sense. We want an ending that reflects all if our previous big decisions.

You mean again, right?

Looking at some of those 1 star reviews on amazon it seems a lot of people did want the happiest ending.

A slightly better explanation for the Reapers is what I'd have liked.

this may be a troll post but i was honestly like this. I loved mass effect 1 and loathed 2 but three brought it all back with the awesome. i did the destroy ending and watched the others in horror as i realized it was just colour swap :(.

A coherent ending with a small denouement that took into account the choices I made for 3 games would be what I would like. Alas, if it is changed it will probably be Marauder Shields explaining that the Citadel will shoot out rainbows and lollipops to kill the reapers, but only if Conrad Verner survived. Otherwise, everyone dies.

I actually was hesitant about ME2 thought it was a downgrade for the series. I LOVED ME1 and the sense of exploration it had. I ended up liking ME2 a lot especially after ME3 and the ending. Baffles me how an amazing game it was till the very end. I mean was it too much for ME3 to keep the winning streak going but no it taped out with only 11 minutes to go :(

It's amazing how people seem to overlook all the flaws of the ending.

You say you put 160 hours into the games and yet obviously missed that a lot of decisions are color coded. You also seem to not understand the concept of symbolism. Your friend chooses Destroy which is the red side (Renegade) and your enemy chooses Control which is the blue side (Paragon)

Also, saving your friend from getting shot is a Renegade option. How does make any sense?

This has been discussed so I'm not going to go any deeper into it. But you clearly didn't pay attention to the ending and just like every other moron who blindly accepts this ending that makes NO sense at all, you think we just want a good ending.

Before this indoctrination theory I thought Shepard was indoctrinated from the beginning of the game. Vent kid just disappears when Shepard looks away for 2 seconds. Hallucination. He has those dreams with that same vent kid. So I was fully expecting the Reapers to win once they fully indoctrinated you. Something along the lines of your squadmates trying to activate the Catalyst and you shoot them.

Instead, we just get an ending that makes no sense and we're supposed to be happy with Space Magic.
