I don't keep buying and playing them. I bought '13 for less than what translates to five bucks and "borrowed" 2k14 from a relative and then never returned it.

I should probably return WWE 2k14.

One thing pro-2k14 is that the AI matches are a lot better. There are near-falls. In '13, the AI couldn't kick out at two.

Maybe you guys can help me cuz I suck at the game still: how in the living hell do you do different moves in wwe 2k14 when grappling? I grapple and then try down+X but it does the same move over and over even if I change the button combonation. Up+x, left+x, etc. I played the old smack down games and remembered that you had four different moves for each grapple depending on which way you pressed on the dpad or stick ( heavy , light) so how in the world do I do different moves while grappling in 2k14?

I think it's supposed to be different moves. Just so we're clear:

Single press of grapple button puts you in hold from the direction you're facing.
Direction stick and grapple button does a throw or whatever the wrestler has in his moveset.

Some characters could have the same hold for all directions.

Jared, if you're reading this, it would be nice if you could make a push for the following for WWE 2K15:

Bringing back Create-A-Taunt
An advanced Create-A-Finisher mode with the complexity of Create-A-Taunt (and being able to create submissions)
Being able to use all of the Custom Special Move slots instead of just two.
And I know this one is a long shot, but how about facial recognition for CAWs using Kinect or PS Eye?

This is the biggest reason I wanted EA to get the WWE rights. The face capture stuff they use for Fight Night is unreal.
