Is this really significant when you break down the size of the markets each of those shows was held in?

Roanoke's population is a fraction the size of Portland. Raleigh's is larger but still roughly a million shy of the greater Portland area.
If anything, the Roanoke gate is more impressive than either of the other two given the respective markets... especially given that less than remarkable card.
