They liked CM Punk, too. Had a high profile main event match at Mania set in stone vs. Triple H. Punk got fed up, walked out and then Hunter shitcanned him on his wedding day.

Pretty convenient how "booked to lose to HHH at a time when HHH served no purpose other than to lose to people who deserved wins" is always ignored in these recaps

Is the Seventh Man gonna be Bray?

But he wasn't being buried.

Becky fucking legged it down to the ring.

I don't get the "self-proclaimed" hammering Cole gives Becky. She isn't the only one calling herself that for fucks sake.

Let's back up, if you think feuding with Roman and Cena consecutively is a burial, you're just dumb.

Especially because he kind of just showed up, had some matches with Y2J, then was instantly wrestling at the top.

I know he has tons experience and is well known for a good number of fans, but I'd make an assumption that there are also a lot that had no clue who he was prior to him coming in.

This man feuded with Cena and Taker each TWICE EACH and it didn't do shit for him. Because he always fucking lost too.

I don't know how you can look at Bray Wyatt and say feuding with someone instantly makes someone matter
Don't forget his feud with The Rock.

WWE still thinks highly of Bray. they book him around the main event all the time. How he is perceived due to WWE's overall booking is its own thing, but that effects everyone. Not just Bray.

AJ being at Bray's level would be way higher than anyone would expect AJ to be booked at.

Bray has literally never won a title or won a big feud.

Is this the same post copied with any of:

Punk
Bryan
Rusev
Rollins
Wyatt

AJ gonna be fed to Cena, then he'll be battling for that IC title in no time.

So

A) Guy who beat Cena twice clean and held the title for over a year, and only lost it to the biggest movie star and top 5 WWE wrestler of all time.

B) Guy who beat HHH, Batista, and Orton in the same WM, pinned Cena flat out clean, and main evented and won WM, and had to retire due to concussions and major health issues. Was set to lead a brand split and be on top of the roster with Cena prior to major injury issues

D) Title holder by winning the Main Event of WM 31 by cashing in MitB, and held title until he tore his ACL and had to give it up.

His feud with Dean was a 'big feud' and he won that.

Think we need to do a crash course on what a burial is. A burial doesn't put you in the main event of Raw and PPVs. A burial is what happened to Buff Bagwell in WWE.

Bray's not holding a title is worth more than a thousand US title reigns. Midcard titles being slapped on him would show that they don't think he's a star and should be relegated to midcard duty.

There's a difference between what the IWC perceives as a burial (anything where you don't win the feud + the title) and what the intent is. The intent is to get AJ over and they obviously think he's good enough to carry his half of a feud with the top guys. It's silly to say its a "burial" because Daniel Bryan didn't immediately win the title after his feuds with Roman/Cena (I think each of those were like one match and he technically did win the title after the Cena one)

WWE still thinks highly of Bray.

Again, because this apparently needs mentioning for multiple people:

Feuds with Cena. Gets ass kicked three different times, including one time where his whole Family gets their ass kicked in a cage while outnumbering him 3 to 1
Feuds with Cena again. Gets ass kicked while outnumbering him 3 to 1 again, this time at one point crying and begging for mercy, but the kicking continues
Feuds with Taker. Builds up whole thing himself. Loses to 1 finisher quick
Feuds with Taker again. Outnumbers him and brother 3 to 2. All 3 get asses kicked again
One night feud with Rock. Family member gets his ass kicked in record time, then all 3 get their asses kicked by him (and Cena again because why the fuck not)

THIS IS HOW HHH AND VINCE TREAT PEOPLE THEY LIKE
