It's exactly why a fighter of Floyd's caliber wins points-wise. Clear contact from his fists, clear avoids from his opponent's hits. A respectable defensive style.

Boxing would be more popular with those people. It's not about catering or anything but that turtling to create boring matches can win you games and it clearly sucks for a lot of fans. Adapt it to make it better for fans who are your lifeblood or continuing circling that drain. It's the same reason why people get bored of the UFC because hugging on the ground, while technical, is just straight up boring.
