Just to clarify, "light years" are a unit describing distance, not time. They have a time component in that they are defined in how far light travels (at c, i.e. in a vacuum) in a Julian year. So, effectively, you're just saying that they were were some factor of 9x10^15 metres ahead of the N64 and GameCube launches.AniHawk said:Thank you for correctly using the term, "light years."

No, just North America.Smiles and Cries said:try to take over the world?

Branduil said:Well, we're not quite sure if it matters yet. We have to see a few more weeks of good 360 sales to be sure that it matters.
And we can't discount the possibility of Europe or the US suddenly not mattering. Right now, obviously, they matter, but if things change in the next year and the Wii takes off obviously they won't matter.
:lol We've now resorted to quantizing launches. We need HW numbers, stat!Lapsed said:The Wii software launch being 9x10^15 better than N64 and Gamecube? Sounds about accurate.

What RPGs, besides Skies, would you say? Grandia? Compared to the PS2, the DC was pitifully lacking. As for the dating sims, please. PC ports don't sell consoles, be it in the Dreamcast or the PS2.Pellham said:a shitload of JRPGs that wont sell very well in Japan due to the lack of 360 userbase. Hey the Dreamcast had literally hundreds of RPGs, SRPGs, and dating sims, and look where that got it.
