Wow, those Nintendo DS and Rythm Tengoku games are doing relatively well, selling almost all of their shipments (most of them).
Looks like Final Fantasy III won't be able to get to 1 million this year, then it seems.
Why in the world is the Best Price (right?) of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney selling more of its shipment than the 2nd game?!
And ouch, looks like the 3rd Party Wii software is performing really horribly.

I'm kinda new to this whole Media Create thingy so pardon two dumb questions: first, what's the last number? is that the percentage of shipped/sold through? and second, the selection seems kind of random. Do they do this every week? how do they select which titles to publish numbers for?

Ghaleon, I think those are sell through rates indeed, and they are random, but skew towards DS games out of the top 10 but maintaining legs.

Well, those Wii numbers make Zelda's low numbers not seem so bad. And make Wii Sports and Wii Play's numbers look really good.

Nintendo, this was supposed to be simple. You make a console built on existing tech, make 4 million, then sell them off. What's with these shitty shipment numbers?

I'm sure wii and ps3 are both still selling out... just small shipments. I figured nintendo would have been able to at least ship 100k more.

NDS is really a money printing machine :lol :lol
PS3 shipments are indeed getting better (I expect 500k PS3 sold in Japan by the end of the year).
Wii had a huge drop, shipments problems?
Xbox360 had its week of glory but next week will be the real deal.

Strange hardware numbers consider that it is the starting week of Japan holiday season. Everything went up nearly double last year but only DSL and 360 can do it this year. Of course supply issue hurts Wii and PS3 sales much. But PS2 and PSP numbers are really lower than expectation. At least with shortage of PS3 and some high-profile games (PS2) comes out, should they sell better?

BTW, I think 360 should sell better than Xbox in lifetime from its JRPG support.

Sad to see everyone pretty much screw the public over on real units sold versus planned allocation for launch on both sides of the ocean.

The 360 just increased its installed base in Japan by twenty percent in one week. :lol

Seriously, though - that's signs of life. Two weeks ago I was expecting 15k this week, tops. If the 360 stays above 20k next week, it's got a chance at building a niche.
