Much larger drop than even I expected. Was thinking more like ~50%.
It is relatively close to 50% though (the PS3 drop is 62% as gofreak mentioned earlier)
If the drop was exactly 50%, then the PS3 would have sold 18,444 more consoles this week (going by the Famitsu numbers). 18,444 consoles is surely a fair amount of consoles though, but i dont think that it is that far away if you guessed a drop around 50%, at least in my opinion
Or what do you think?
But to be honest, i did think that the PS3 hardware sales this week might have been a bit higher, maybe around 70k or so.

Umm how could it have done better if the first shipmemt was 200k?
Sony could have quickly restocked, at least in theory, but i dont know if they had enough PS3 consoles produced to be able to do a quick restock though.

Seeing used PS3 Slim for sales doesnt necessarily tells how the supply situation is in general though. Or, it might depend on how many used PS3 Slim there are for sale
Are there a lot or rather few used PS3 Slims for sales in Japan now, does anyone know? Segata Sanshiro said that the PS3 was sold out in some stores last week, but that it probably wasnt hard to get a PS3 Slim if you went to another store, but now it probably shouldnt be any supply problems regarding the PS3 Slim in Japan at least

The problem is it will likely be significantly lower than 57k next week.
I wonder if Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 will affect the PS3 hardware sales. Tales of Vesperia came out for the Xbox 360 about a year ago though, so who knows how much Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 will affect the PS3 hardware.
EDIT: I added some text (i am sorry for the late edit :\).
