lol at it making barely a difference in Japan as well. =DEach episode of Hitman and each episode of Life is Strange counts as a single unit? That explains those numbers lol!
Games like Nioh, NieR, Ni no Kuni II, etc... all seem to be focusing on what will/may come from outside of Japan. Japan just seems like the extra chump change more than anything else.
It's a good strategy too. There's not much point in pinning hopes on Japan for some of these series so it's just better not too. It's just a smaller, less relevant market than it used to be.
I don't know if it has to be a "big seller" or not. What is a big seller? When was the last time a period Japan samurai game (even with the main character a westerner) a big seller outside of Japan? Onimusha?
If the target is actually market outside Japan, it's weird that they are making the game in its current style.
Does anyone have/remember the Comgnet preorder numbers for launch Wii and Wii U games?

No Wii Numbers but we have the rest and BotW is already past any other launch game recently
Triple A console gaming is dead in Japan, so relative to the market I guess these RE sales aren't bad. I wonder if it can be revived.
How big is Europe's mobile games market compared to NA's? (and Japan I guess)
Coming out on February 23rd, same day as the white PS4, 34.490 yen.
Am I reading this wrong - or is Square saying half (or more) of their unit-sales are now digital everywhere except Japan?Nirolak said:This should probably go here as well:

If RE7 fails to meet forecast it will be 3 on 3 for Capcom's flagship titles of the year.
Dead Rising 4 bombed and MHXX will miss the target, maybe not by a small margin.
I just want a Shopping Mall as a hunting ground.Good thing we'll have the tie-in game for the movie. Can't wait to play as Monster Hunter's relatable American characters.

More like the Gore Mallgala. You're in luck. It's the Gore Magala's natural habitat!

You also get a 4K Blu ray of Ghostbusters as a gift if you get this bundle.

It seems Dissidia is slowly climbing the mountain.
Now at 32th on the top grossing apps. https://www.appannie.com/apps/ios/t...er=0&page_size=100&desc=t&order_by=sort_order
Edit: it's 8th right now... whoa.
I'm out of the loop, why are people expecting mhxx to miss targets or disappoint?
We should make the yearly prediction league before next month.
Do you have any suggestions?

Quite the recovery. Maybe they're running an event, but the biggest change seems to be the second bug patch for when it took off.
Maybe they need to run even more betas for their mobile games.
Also Minecraft Switch Edition
This highly relies on when it launches during the year due to how Minecraft sells overtime in Japan. If it launches in April it will have significantly higher sales than it would if it launches in the second half of the year.
I like how out of the 3 commercials, only one of those games will be out at launch. Lol.

No worries they also did one for 1/2 Switch

I see 777 sales. Make your guesses.

This isn't a commercial though.
